The land is unique and secluded. Meditate by a ancient Pinion pine tree, or watch a sunrise next to massive boulders, in a field, or on a hilltop, you'll find a lot of hiking, Also world renowned restaurants are only a 20-minute drive away.
Thanks,
Kyle

Garth’s boulder garden was an amazing place to camp and explore. The host and other guests were all so nice, the communal fire and kitchen area were perfect to cook dinner and hang out with other travelers, and the land itself was massive and gorgeous, felt bigger than JT park itself.
Only downside was you couldn’t have your own personal campfire at your campsite.
But all in all great trip and would definitely recommend. Our pups loved it too!

It's super pretty and quiet!!! Would love to visit one more time in the future. One thing is that it's quite hard to mount the tent on the floor cause it's full of rocks underneath. Also it's quite windy at night, but as long as you have a strong tent and can get over with the wind sound. You'll be so satisfied!! A lot to play with and look at nearby.
This area is definitely an energy point. There was so much residual electricity in the air, it literally made our dogs hair stand on end!. Probably due to the rich deposits of quartz in the ground?
I rate this 10 out of 5 stars! It is an incredible place! Breathtaking views, gorgeous landscape, great people. No complaints at all. Couple of advisories. The road in is very bumpy. We came in a 28' class C RV. The drive was easily passable other than the bumps.
There are a lot of small thorny cacti (at least in the end of May) that will get their thorns into feet, socks and some shoes. Stay to the main roads or keep on the trail and it's fine.
It was also very windy when we came. Warm and sunny though. Cell phone service is spotty at best but lots of other activities to keep you occupied.
Looking forward to our next trip!

The land the camp is located on is absolutely beautiful and magical.
Kyle was so attentive to everyone personally going around to make sure folks were settling in and to invite us to different events happening on the property that evening.
The other campers were friendly and the environment felt safe.
We will definitely go back!

No one to greet us; the person at the entrance who we mistook for our host was surly, and literally said to us, “Hipcamp? I thought we took that down”. We had to pry information from about where we might find our host. It was most upsetting.
Such beautiful land! I love Kyle’s efforts to create community here. It’s more than just camping. We stayed in the Cosmic Castle which was soooo cute and we had the benefit of shade and the constant sound of birds under our gorgeous tree. :)
The community kitchen area was sweet and the land is simply gorgeous. Next time we’ll try out staying in the teepee!
Beautiful views and lots of space to ourselves. Friendly and accommodating host. Endless private land to explore with the iconic Joshua tree landscape
