We really enjoyed our stay! The spots were spacious, the bathrooms were clean, and there were tables, benches, etc. by the water that were great to use.
This place is great if you need a safe place to sleep in your van or camp for the night in the Bay Area and it’s hidden. Beautiful views. Cheap too. We booked it last minute and I would stay again

Bare bones but incredible views
Dates June 16-18 2022. I live close by, am an older experienced camper, and set up a tent on the San Pablo Bay side (more wind protected). Space # 1 has a wooden platform but not big enough for my tent, unfortunately. The space is not cozy but the views are stunning. We had the site to ourselves and just watched the birds and ferries go by. As two women campers, we felt safe, even tho we were alone. The ground cloth, the blanket, and the yoga mat I brought softened the tent set up on gravel. But this area is better suited for a camping vehicle. It's level, but nothing separates the 5 sites, just site numbers on a wall. Terminal 4 occupants keep an eye on the amenities, (Porta Potty with a hand wash station, garbage cans, table and chairs,) and make use of them or try to. This is is somewhat intrusive but better if you can retreat to your camper van/bus. For activities, you could have a fun couple of days here; touring the East Brother Lighthouse ($25 -includes a boat ride) then hang out at The Black Star Prirate BBQ (Fri-Sun), then overnite in your vehicle then next morning hike up to the top of the hills for an incredible 280 degree view of the North Bay. Your dogs will have fun, too. Not to mention the Osprey Nest!
The cost is high for what you get and I wish the host could figure out a way to provide water to the campers. Eventually the Bay Trail will come through here and so camping might not be possible in the future. ( far future, possibly) Campers, take advantage.

This place is real nice. The time we went it wasn’t cold at all . Nice cool breeze from San Pablo bay. The view was so peaceful
And relaxing . It could get Sunny depend what site you are at. Hopefully you have an Awning/canopy. If you want to fish it’s just walking distance across the street . It does get kinda busy in the morning with cars going back In forth but towards 5-6pm it get quite . There was also mosquito so bring some repellent or candles
It was a fair price for a site with a great view. Robert was quick to respond when I had questions! Very peaceful.
My second time here! Great spot with multi million $$$ views! Super clean. Relaxing. Definitely go to Black Star BBQ for great food and live music.
