What a sneaky gem!! How this place isn't packed, I'll never know. Such amazing views, plenty of campsites, and right next door to a Suana and Ceramic store. Plus Point San Pablo Harbor is LOVELY. All around amazing find!!

This is a very unique experience. Only 30 minutes from my house in Oakland, but felt very isolated. And of course the bbq place is a must!
It was such a beautiful weekend on the San Pablo Bayside parked next to Roberts Airstream it was a very peaceful and beautiful experience. Robert was amazing when we checked in and showed us where to go and offered us some super tasty beer… I can’t wait to come back

This was a vey interesting place to stay. Off the beaten path, remote, and eclectic. The weather wasn't nice while we were there so we couldn't enjoy the bay, but on a nice day it's probably a beautiful view.
I loved the eclectic surprises. The barbecue restaurant was amazing, great views, lovely walking trails. Quiet, non crowded camping on historic land.

I was really looking forward to this after reading Dally Tram's review. I got there around 3pm on a Friday. Combo wouldn't work on the gate. Fortunately someone was coming out, so I got in. Asked for Robert the host, but the tenant who runs the saunas told me he's rarely around. Which surprised me after reading Tram's review. I didn't get the hot tub guy's name but he left at 4pm and locked up what I thought was the common area accessible to the campers. Fortunately, I wasn't charging my phone or camera at the time. (The GFI receptacle at the street end of the building was not working; that was the only power I saw outside.) He came back on Saturday and re-opened it but wasn't overly friendly, kept asking Can I help you? when I walked over that way like it was not open to the campers. I did enjoy the view and the weather was perfect, but I car camp a lot in my tent and thought $100/nite to pitch a tent in what is really the overflow parking lot for the sauna was a little steep. A picnic table would have been a nice touch too.
