The HipCamp, Terminal 4, at the tip of San Pablo Peninsula was a unique experience with the SF Bay on one side and the San Pablo Bay on the other. A very a scenic treat!
The campsite was basic, clean, and private. We had to get used to setting up our tent on top of gravel, but it was no big deal once the sleeping pads were down. I'm sure it's great for utility vehicles and camper vans.
My husband and I ate at the Black Star Pirate BBQ Saturday late afternoon. A very eclectic, fun place only a mile away, with live music and great food (take out or dine outside).
Waking up to the sounds of the wildlife, boats speeding by in the distance along with the beautiful, sunny bay weather was so delightful.
Overall we would definitely return to this hidden gem.
Hipcamp at its best!
Terminal 4 is what this is all about. Some of the most amazing views of the bay and historically important site. A simply magical place and experience. Robert is an amazing person and soul. You will not have a better Hipcamp experience anywhere else! Amazing!
Terminal 4 is an interesting setting right on the water that is still being developed. I believe I may of been one of the first campers. I can certainly see the potential. Currently it is more suited for campers. I had a tent and found it difficult to find a place where I could hammer the tent stakes into the ground. There is a lot of gravel and rock.
A diamond in the rough.
Our stay at Terminal 4 was an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The location and remoteness offer you a view of the San Pablo Bay waterfront and quiet nights. Definitely, a repeat stay!
