Learn more about this land: Coppercreek Camp is your mountain escape with fresh air and dark night skies perfect for star gazing. Come stay in a bunk cabin alone or with friends and family and enjoy endless miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.  Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville and through our property in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we still have a little slice of green heaven. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild! Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and pen sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!

Amazing experience. Sutter and her family are so nice and accommodating. They made sure my stay was comfortable and peaceful. Their land is so amazing. Can see the stars so bright. Having a communal is great too! Can’t wait to come back here again and stay longer!

Lovely camping experience.
We loved camping in our rooftop tent at Copper Creek Camp! Sutter was open to a last minute reservation, and we had the best dog greeting party. The entire place has a good vibe. Bring earplugs for the middle of the night train horn in the distance, if you are a light sleeper.

The Ridge View Tent
The tent stay was great. Amenities inside the tent were good. During our stay, it was raining in the area and a little water seeped inside the tent. So, the sealing of the tent can be improved. The restrooms and shower area definitely needs to be improved. Many of the restrooms were not functioning. The restroom and the shower area was not neat and there were many cobwebs there.

The Ridge View Tent
Beautiful Space and Beautiful Views
Sutter and her family were super welcoming and responsive to our questions and needs. We had a little one traveling with us and they were really thoughtful in making sure we all had a comfortable and fun stay at Coppercreek. The tent we stayed in is on a raised platform with an awesome little porch and some comfy lounge chairs. The front/porch look out onto a hillside away from the other cabins and campers, which made it feel private and secluded in a really nice way- I definitely recommend sitting out after sunset and enjoying the starry sky. The interior of the tent was clean and has a nice simple aesthetic. The interior and exterior lights were easy to turn on and off and there were plenty of outlets for our electronics. There is so much space to discover. We are grateful for a beautiful stay.

Very friendly host. Good accommodations the hot shower was appreciated. Lots of very friendly dogs around the property, none of them ever barked but they did let us pet them. Excellent experience!
