Tucked away in the hills of San Diego, this 40 acre hilltop haven is close to wine country and all things nature! On a clear day it has an ocean view and incredible panoramic view of the city.
Stay the night in our little casita. Nestled under an oak grove and amongst giant desert boulders. This 10x10 guest house is insulated keeping it warm at night and cool during the day. Comfy queen bed, basic cooking supplies including single burner, pot, utensils, plates, cups and French press. When the sun sets enjoy a fire in the fire pit with a mountain and city view.
NO AC!!! Keep in mind this is an off grid experience! there is a power pack provided to plug in lights and if you would like to charge devices:)
Reconnect with nature, go for a hike, spend the day wine tasting at neighboring wineries and gaze at the stars all night.

The casita was a beautiful place to view the sunset as advertised. I was greeted by two well behaved dogs on arrival. Very relaxing and was able to see the stars in the night sky! Kerri and Jared were wonderful hosts. I recommend!

Very cool place to hide out in the hills. Worth the drive out of town for the magnificent views and stars. The Casita was very comfortable, want to try the cool trailers next time…. Being off grid is a grounding experience. Thanks to the great hosts for dreaming up this place. We will be back.

The perfect weekend getaway! Everything you need to have a peaceful retreat. Fully equipped with kitchen supplies/propane stove top, comfy bed, and beautiful views. The three sweet pups who greeted me in the morning, fire pit, and fresh eggs were the icing on top. I will definitely be back soon.
Great out of city retreat that has everything you need for a weekend escape. Stayed very warm throughout the cold night and the property had some great views of the sunset/night sky. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Kerri+Jared!
