Directions didn't take you to the campsite but there was signage that helped. Eric didn't meet us and wasn't very welcoming or helpful. I called and he seemed annoyed and gave short responses.
Camp site was ok for the money.
Power, water, and well-behaved dogs
Power and water, reasonably priced, on a dog-friendly patch of ground 1ish miles from the junction of 20 and 1. Only 4 spots on a one + acre piece of Mendocino ground. Other than power (30 amp) and good tasting water, the main perk is that you’re not squished like sardines at the beach campgrounds.
Want a sunset? Take a 5 minute drive to Noyo Harbor or Casper Headlands.
Perfectly peaceful, sunny and beautiful spot. Easy to find - great hookups and excellent location.
It was perfect. Everything we needed to recharge after staying at crowded and busy campgrounds. Eric's land was a great getaway with clear directions. No issues finding it.
Camp was very peaceful and tranquil. Gated and secure for pets.
30 amp was good as well as water hookup. Was no other campers there when I was there and so place was quiet which I appreciated.
The close proximity to the coast and Mendocino was great. The property is definitely in the “start up” stage. The directions could have better…ie: “After the first left turn onto Dyer, the road takes a hard right. Property is the first GATED lot on the right.” Other than that, it was quiet and not much going on.
