Lots to do between picking your own berries and there's a really cool reservoir close by that's 25 ft. A great spot to cool off in the summer! There's local wine tasting in the area with lots to choose from and lots of cool little towns to check out. Solveang the cool danish town is close by (aka. the gingerbread town), which is a nice place to checkout. There are also some local trails nearby, which have ocean views of Refugio beach.
We're also motorcycle friendly and we even have our own little mechanic shop!

Summerset Farms was an awesome place to stay! Dale was super easy to get in contact with and had a fire waiting for us when we arrived so we could find where to camp. The farm is beautiful to wake up to!
I loved being able to camp on a farm: a very unique experience. We were able to pick strawberries, raspberries, and grapes for breakfast. The only setback is that the freeway is right there and you can pretty much hear cars roaring past virtually all night.

My husband & myself went to Summerset Farm Camp. The weather was beautiful. Peaceful & calm is all you will feel. Your body, mind & soul will surely be refreshed. Solvang & Los Olives are very nearby. There is an Ostrich farm very near to Solvang. The sunflowers looked vibrant & majestic. The raspberry & blackberry were farmed when we camped. They were yummy...
Pulled up just after dark. It was pitch black and there was no indication where to go. We drove around half the property before we found the “camping area” mentioned on the listing. It was right next to a very loud and busy freeway, which wasn’t mentioned on the listing. We called the number on the listing to ask if there was somewhere we could set up not so close to the road, and the guy on the other end was clearly not happy I was calling and was pretty rude. The end of that conversation was “just go anywhere”. We drove around a bit, finding that everything was dead and so nothing looked like the pictures. It was just flat dirt. Not feeling safe or excited or welcome, we ended up booking a motel. Didn’t stay a night, lost all our money from the booking. The pictures look really beautiful, so I guess this is somewhere you have to go during a different season and show up during the day. Wish the description had been clearer as to what kind of place we were going to be staying, not just what it looks like a few months of the year, or that we would be staying right next to a freeway, which did not feel very camp-y at all.
The first night we slept under the peach trees and it was loud with traffic so we moved into the blueberries the next night. Grass was soft and it was much quieter. Highly recommend asking for this option, the stars are amazing! A lovely sight after a day of wine tasting in the area!

Awesome location, very close to Los Olivos and all the wineries. The owner, Teddy, is super friendly and helpful. You can get a basket from the nursery and pick berries if they're in season - we got great strawberries & raspberries over Memorial Day weekend. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back again soon.
Awesome place to rest and watch the stars. Clean, sweet berries were a cool snack to have throughout the day. Perfect place to rest on a road trip as the farm is close to a highway. Nice goat thats has an insatiable appetite. And look out for that bull. Haha
We had a great time at the farm. It's a huge piece of land with a lot of possibilities. Ted showed us the best spot to put our tent (tip: ask him for the spot between the trees) and visited us in the evening taking the time to tell us a lot about the environment, himself and the farm. What a great guy!
We picked a lot of raspberry's and strawberry's which is what makes it a great experience. Bring your own water or ask Ted.
Would definitely come back.
Thanks again Ted!
