Lots to do between picking your own berries and there's a really cool reservoir close by that's 25 ft. A great spot to cool off in the summer! There's local wine tasting in the area with lots to choose from and lots of cool little towns to check out. Solveang the cool danish town is close by (aka. the gingerbread town), which is a nice place to checkout. There are also some local trails nearby, which have ocean views of Refugio beach.

We're also motorcycle friendly and we even have our own little mechanic shop!

This is my first mixed feelings experience at a Hip Camp. Campsites 1-3 are very close together so I strongly recommend #4 if you want privacy and more quiet. In general, the campsites are clean and there is a Porta potty and a water pump. The road is close but not terribly loud but you don’t feel remote in any way, if that matters to you. My biggest concern was that we never received any communication from the host even after reaching out via text. I noticed several other reviews who mentioned a lack of communication and it was a bummer. In the morning, there was a friendly person working the farm stand but she was not the host/didn’t have any info on hip camp. It was $6 for a small basket of pick your own raspberries (end of season) or strawberries. It could be a really great stay if only it felt more welcoming.

The farm was awesome! There is a flock of beautiful chickens to hang out with and great fresh produce available.

A truly wonderful experience. The camp is easily accessible along our drive and is set amongst a the farm fields. We had all the amenities we needed and the stargazing is superb. Our hosts were very welcoming. I'd highly recommend Summerset farm and will definitely be coming back.

Cool farm, easy drinking water access, clean porta potty, lots of space at site 4. Nice to wake up in the fog. Only downside is noise. The farm is quite close to the highway and you can hear it most of the night

Had such a lovely 3 nights here. Had a lovely time wandering between rows of berries, grapes and apples. Met countless friendly goats, chickens, and kind hosts. Got exceptionally delicious corn from the produce stand up front and roasted it over a campfire - doesn't get better than this! Wonderful location too

Staying at Sunmerset was a dream come true! My kids woke up in the morning and were able to feed chickens, goats, and other animals living on the property, and were also able to pick tons of fruits and veggies. Lou, Sally and Ted were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an incredible camping experience that my kids will never forget!

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at the Summerset Farm Camp. Ted's instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for us arriving in the evening after the farm stand was closed. We had the whole farm to ourselves (well, us and the chickens, goats, pig, and farm dog who were all lovely and welcoming!), and it was the perfect place for a camp fire and star gazing. There is a porta-potty but no shower - as clearly indicated in the listing. Only small point to note (although not a complaint), is that site 1 is relatively close to the road, so if you are a light sleeper, you might hear the cars at night. A big thanks to Ted and his colleagues for an excellent summer night!

This was an amazing campsite! Very close to many local wineries & the views of this farm are priceless. I couldn’t begin to count the amount of stars in the sky at night and actually opted to spend more time on the camp than I intended.

The hosts were very accommodating, allowed us to have free use of the property, and all you can eat access to their ripe fruits.

There was lots of privacy as the farm was very large and the campsites are placed with a reasonable amount of distance.

I want to come back with my boyfriend so we can spend time together at Summerset Farm Camp.
