Splitrock Farm & Retreat offers guests access to 101 acres of land, which includes beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean to the west and Mount Jacinto to the east.

Guests have access to 6+ miles of walking and biking trails. Feel free to explore the farm. Please stay on the designated trails.

We are located 5 miles from downtown Fallbrook, 14 miles from wine tasting in Temecula, and a few miles east of Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

Keep children in sight and pets on leash as there is a variety of wildlife that visit frequently, including coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes, snakes, hawks, spiders, and more.

When visiting Splitrock Farm & Retreat you may hear training from Camp Pendleton. The nearby coastal and mountain terrain support a variety of military training at the base. Fleet Marine Force units use Camp Pendleton's ranges and training areas to maintain combat readiness, which can often be heard from campsites throughout the day and sometimes into the evenings.

Please NO: Hunting, fireworks, fires outside of designated fire rings, tossed cigarette butts, or fruit picking.

This site is incredible! The views are outrageous and there is endless space for activities. We took our pups on long walks and played campfire 🔥 games. We were close enough to the main town if we needed to grab anything we missed but far enough away that we felt all alone under the stars.

Tranquil. Serene. Breathtaking. Rejuvenating. These are just a few words to describe our camping experience at Splitrock Farm and Retreat. We had such a positive experience camping here!

This hidden oasis, tucked away just off I-15, is the perfect getaway. The campground is clean and well cared for. Numerous trails are within easy walking distance of the camp sites, and we loved exploring! We especially liked the oak grove and Margo's Garden (a grassy pasture filled with avocado trees).

Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, and made us feel so welcome. They checked in on us regularly to make sure our needs were met, and gave us tips for where to go to see the best views and scenery during our stay. We agree with their assessment that Splitrock, for which the property is named, has the most majestic view of the area!

Thank you, Ben and Halley - we will definitely camp here again!

Morning sunrise and the fog rolling through the valley... such a peaceful wake-up! Check out the fog in the valley! Sunrise - perfect tranquility Morning view from the trail - calm and serene.
