Campsite #4 has a picnic table, a fire pit, and plenty of space. It is farthest from the main house, bath house, and entrance, so choose this site for space and isolation. Be aware that 4x4 or AWD is required to access this site.

- Get directions at the main house or follow the signs if no one is home.

- There is a simple latrine at each site. A full bath house with a flush toilet and hot shower is available next to the main house. A water spigot is attached to the main house.

-

- Spare camping supplies are available by the bath house if you forget something! Ask ahead if you need to borrow a specific item.

More about the property: I built my home high upon a southern ridge. Watching the river of coastal fog flow in and out below me is one of the most wonderful views to behold! I have 30 acres of land to explore and camp upon in the surrounding redwood forest.

10 miles east are Montgomery Woods redwood preserve with GIANT trees, and a little farther, perhaps a mile is the famous Orr Hot Springs Resort. If you drive a half hour west from my land you will be in the coastal Mendocino village.

We are marijuana friendly!!  Thus, we have created more of an adult oriented atmosphere.

one last note: We recently made separate listings for different sites. See campsite #1 for reviews.

Incredible view! Breathing in the most spectacular air. Hilarious host, greated our group very friendly.
And was willing to help us and show us his amazing property! Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful get away. Bbq'd some steaks around a campfire drinking beer in nature. Whats not to love?
Showers and toilet available, level ground for tent set up and campsite parking. Lots of trees for shade and picnic table. We even had a clean charcoal grill as well as a pre-made campfire pit.
About a 25 minute drive to the town of Mendocino where you can find groceries, delicious fine dining and cafe's.

We had a great time camping in site #4. The site is shaded under redwoods with a sunny meadow and garden below. Our dog loved the ability to run around. Next time, we'll be sure to remember our mountain bikes. There is a tracked out loop around the perimeter for mountain/dirt bikes. Thanks for sharing your delightful land with us Cosmo.

The entire land is amazing, with many different kinds of camp sites. Cosmo, the host, is extremely awesome. You can have propane campfires when fires are banned. There is a real toilet. The land is great to walk and bike around. However most of it requires 4x4 truck or jeep. If you are looking for some rough farm and woods camping with no signal and a great host, come here. 10/10

Cosmo’s camp is the best.

We recently enjoyed campsite #4 for a medium sized group camping trip.

The land is perfect for a weekend getaway.

It’s beautiful, secluded and well shaded all thru the day. It made it enjoyable to set up our camp stove and bbq all day, and to set up the propane fire ring Cosmo provided (during fire season) to hang out all night.

There is plenty of space to set up tents. The entire property is well maintained for hiking. Water and compost toilets are plentiful. Campsite #4 is remote from all the neighbors so we weren’t worried about staying up late and talking.

Most importantly Cosmo is the best host. He is extremely helpful on arrival and all thru the weekend he would check in on us with some helpful tips to best enjoy the property.

He lent us a ladder to help set up our shade structures, a second fire ring, a sleeping pad for someone who forgot one, and of course the tuna!

His property is beautiful, comfortable, safe and friendly. We can’t wait to visit again.

Campsite 4 at Cosmo's Camp was amazing to be at! Such a stunning location and amazing for my group to be camping in. You have four acres of fenced-in, pristine forest to camp in with a great field and several spots to set up a campfire and tents. Cosmo was a great host, always graciously answering questions and even gave our group a welcome gift. The road down to the site is certainly bumpy, but was no issue at all for a higher clearance car such as a Subaru. Hopefully I will be back, thank you Cosmo!
