PLEASE DON'T GO TO MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE!!! GOOGLE MAPS DOES NOT WORK HERE!!! READ THE "ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS" AND FOLLOW THEM!

Campsite #2 has a picnic table, a fire pit, a view, and is adjacent to a large flat area. It is close to the main house, bath house, and entrance. Trailer/RV access is limited because of the gravel driveway. Choose this site for space and convenience.

- Get directions at the main house or follow the signs if no one is home.

- There is a simple latrine at each site. A full bath house with a flush toilet and hot shower is available next to the main house. A water spigot is attached to the main house.

- There are miles of trails to hike or to ride dirt bikes/mountain bikes on. There is a marked walkable loop around the property that will take about 1 hr 30 min.

- Spare camping supplies are available by the bath house if you forget something! Ask ahead if you need to borrow a specific item.

More about the property: I built my home high upon a southern ridge. Watching the river of coastal fog flow in and out below me is one of the most wonderful views to behold! I have 30 acres of land to explore and camp upon in the surrounding redwood forest.

10 miles east are Montgomery Woods redwood preserve with GIANT trees, and a little farther, perhaps a mile is the famous Orr Hot Springs Resort. If you drive a half hour west from my land you will be in the coastal Mendocino village.

We are marijuana friendly!!

Had a wonderful time spending 3 nights on Cosmo's property at site #2 with my kids, ages 4 and 6. We purchased firewood and tuna to kick off the camping trip and Cosmo brought it to us at our site [you need to try the tuna!!!]

During the days we explored the property, relaxed by the fire, enjoyed the sunsets and then basked in the star light. Cosmo is a fantastic host, helping us explore the property and discover the many treasures and surprises. Be sure to visit the "art camp".

Site #2 was perfect for the camper van that we rented and the bathroom was clean and comfortable.

Will definitely be back!

Worth the windy drive in! Stayed at site #2, which had a nicer view than expected, a cute alcove and big fire pit. The campsite has a rustic feel and seems to still need maintenance done, but we were super comfy staying there and appreciated how he was quick to offer help but also give us our privacy when we arrived. Lots of stars to see during a peaceful and quiet night made it for a relaxing and fun stay :)

Cosmo is a total kick in the pants (that’s a compliment). It’s beautiful out there, the clear starry nights, clean air, and no traffic sounds was just the thing I needed. We had a ton of fun and will be back!

Cosmo was a gracious and kind host. We arrived late and he escorted us to our site. It rained over night and the tree frogs were the best entertainers. Cosmo also helped us exit his property. Overall it was a great stay. Didn’t see a lot of other people and had a big area all to ourselves.

We loved our stay at Cosmos Camp! It was a windy and pretty drive up to his house. Cosmo greeted us and was super friendly! We got some of his tuna too! The site had a little outdoor potty and a flushing toilet is a short walk away. The site was perfect for our two day stay! We stayed in a campervan and it was great!

What a quick getaway from San Francisco! Cosmos camp is tucked away in the mountains of Mendocino and a beautiful place to go off the grid. Cosmo was an awesome and friendly host. Camp site 2 is near his house but my group of 9 and I were quite loud till late and he was very chill about our festivities. All of the campsites are VERY spread out. There is a bathhouse near by and a made man potty near this site. Campsite 2 has a huge fire pit and TONS of space for tents/activities.

We camped at site 2 it was conveniently located near the bathroom. The area was quiet, we saw other campers but it was like they weren’t even there. Cosmo is very friendly and hospitable. It was my first time tent camping and the area was perfect we had 4 children (7, 4,3,2) and 6 adults there was plenty of space to run around.
