The Farm is a 15 acre parcel located ~1000ft above the valley floor. Its position above the clouds on top of a mountain gives way to stunning views of the valley and beyond. Many mornings are filled with clouds moving across the valley floor. Watch the clouds roll as sun shines only on you! We border the Cleveland National Forest and the fire roads lead to endless amounts of exploring. An hour away from the coast and two hours from Big Bear you can use our property is the perfect base for an enormous array of adventures. The property has terraced roads and offers many different locations to camp or have your event. Use the property like its your own and create your ideal vacation. We are constantly working on the property to revive and improve (will try to update constantly) We would love for you to come and see what we are all about.
We welcome any event that you would like to host and offer the whole property to transform into your dream. The Pergola and Amphitheater are anchors for any event. The Amphitheater and deck capture the best views of the property and is the ultimate place for a celebration. We have tables, lights, shade, and other accessories to help you host your event. We only let one group use the site at once so it will be all yours. Extend your event and make it an overnight camping trip!
For camping the options are truly up to you, we welcome all types of campers and modes of camping. We have a large flat space roughly half the size of a football field that can accommodate all types of camping. This spot is the base of camp life and includes a pergola, water, electricity and more. Unfortunately no rv hook ups...yet. If you would like to spread out you can disperse camp most places on the property, many great niches with huge views. Quiet-ish hours from 10pm-8am please ask about any noise concerns but many parties can run through the night with strict decibel guidelines.

Fantastic weekend at Skyline Mountain. We had 40 campers celebrating a 40th birthday where each attendee taught the group something. The venue was perfect--camping and partying up top with the classes at the amphitheater. Caleb was a great host and helped us through whatever came up. The views were incredible and everyone had a wonderful time!

I spent my 30th birthday weekend here and could not have asked for a better weekend. What an amazing location with two great hosts, Hansen and Caleb. Through the messaging feature of the app, Hansen was a very quick responder to any questions and concerns that we had. He also offered for us to check out the location prior to our booking but because of his responsiveness through messaging it was unnecessary. Hansen was also very reasonable with accommodating our guest counts. Caleb was an amazing host who greeted us at the location. Upon arrival, he gave us a detailed rundown and idea of how to set up camp and our sound equipment. Additionally, he was super responsive and always picked up his phone to answer any questions that we had.
Our group likes to throw music/DJ events and we had no issues with noise. You have to be respectful of some of their neighbors, but they are fairly far away from the campsite. You have to turn down/off the subwoofer by 10pm-12am but we seemed to not have too many issues with noise and still enjoyed ourselves well into the night with music.
The view was amazing and the amphitheater was a bonus area to enjoy the view and play a sunset set. My friends and I loved everything about our stay and we cannot wait to book another weekend stay in the future!
Hansen's spot was awesome and he was a very accommodating host. It was so nice to have electricity, running water, a toilet, and trash bins on site. He also provides lots of tables and fold out chairs, and set up the gas firepit for us with two big tanks of propane. The views were absolutely stunning and the weather all weekend was ideal. It got a bit hot during the day but there's a decent amount of shade provided. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday and our group had an amazing time! Thank you so much Hansen!!

This is an awesome spot and Hansen was a super helpful host! I celebrated my birthday here and the whole setup and the view are beautiful. The glamping tents are rad, and the streetlights in the common area are a really nice touch. I'd highly recommend!
I just spent the best weekend of my entire year at The Overlook. Our group of 15 fully vaccinated friends had our first big reunion post-quarantine and it was absolutely joyful to be in such a beautiful place together at last. The views are spectacular and the amenities make it a step above traditional camping. We brought a power strip and cooked almost everything using electricity, we did use the BBQ provided by Caleb the camp host for a couple things, but it was so nice to be able to plug in. The power is also located alongside the new bar so there was a lot of surface area for cooking. The only things I would give a heads up about, which were totally workable are - the road, the wind, and the lack of potable water. The road - take it slow and in a low gear, find your lines, and try to drive it in the daylight if you can. It is unpaved and steep, so some dirt hydroplaning is inevitable. But we had a Prius make it up at night, so worst case it is doable, just practice caution. The wind - because you're so high up wind is probably inevitable and we definitely had some Saturday late afternoon through evening. The thing that's tricky is that the earth is very hard and rocky so its tough to get your tent stakes in. We were glad we brought some heavy duty stakes and a hammer. The water - we started to worry we hadn't brought enough drinking water but in the end we were totally fine. The provided water isn't potable so just make sure you have plenty to drink and cook with. Other than that, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself in a spectacular landscape with the people you love!

Spacious and well set up
Large flat area above Wildomar and Lake Elsinore. Host has made numerous improvements to the space, including picnic table with shade cover, cooking area, light strings, porta potty, sink with running water, performance stage and seating, along with plenty of flat space to set up vehicles and tents.
Getting to the road to go up the hill can be a little tricky. You have to first drive through a hillbilly neighborhood with dirt roads, and follow your GPS carefully. You will wonder if you're going the right way, but stick with it. Once you get out of the neighborhood, you start climbing a rough dirt road and get to a gate where you enter a code provided by the host.
As others have posted, the road can get rough! Totally not suitable for low cars. 4x4 really helps, but not required as long as you have moderate ground clearance. The road doesn't have particularly large rocks, the main challenge is soft sandy areas and large ruts. Expect to drive about 10 minutes up this narrow dirt road, and would highly recommend against going up at night or in the rain.
If you encounter a car coming the other way, good luck!
There are 2 host partners that you should communicate with as you are on the way. They will give you the gate code, and directions on how to find the entrance to the camping area. There's a small sign on the side of the road showing where "camp" is. Once you drive in you will find the large flat area down the hill from the home, with plenty of space to set up.
Good views of the town below, and frequently skydivers can be seen coming down over the airport. Although the 15 fwy is miles away, the noise from vehicles can constantly be heard at the campsite. Being at the top of a hill with few large trees for cover, it can get WINDY!
We packed up earlier than expected on our 2nd day due to strong winds. Once of the tents was damaged when the poles bent, and our kitchen supplies started blowing away.
Overall good place to get way. Ideal for large groups and camping newbies. Having picnic table, sink, and porta potty is a huge plus for city slickers! Not the most scenic setting, and don't expect any wildlife beyond birds and lizards.
Would recommend to others.

The site is amazing! Super flat, running water, clean porta potties, electricity and great views. Plus the host is really nice and accommodating
Our groups stay at The Overlook exceeded all expectations. The property was well maintained and provided the perfect layout for us to curate our ideal camping set up. Bathrooms, electricity, an outdoor bar, and the views made it a weekend to remember. Hansen was a great communicator with all of our preliminary questions and Caleb was an awesome on-site host. I think everyone in our group agreed we will be back again real soon.

Hansen was an incredible host leading up to and during the event we hosted on his property. We had a big ask, 40+ people, multiple camping setups, and a large stage and sound system. Hansen went above and beyond to help us plan for the property, even meeting us a few weeks before the event so we could plan the setup on his property. Not only this, we needed some additional outlets installed for power, and he had this completed before we even showed up. He is such an incredible host, and I highly recommend this Hipcamp if you're looking for a spot for a big group!
The property itself is absolutely incredible. Situated ontop of a mountain near Lake Elsinore, you have views stretching from the lake to the entire town of Wildomar. The sunsets from the top of the mountain are amazing. The road getting up to the property is a bit tricky, so I recommend using a 4x4 vehicle, and avoiding driving sedans or low cars up the road. Other than that, it is absolutely perfect! Lot's of hiking nearby, and plenty of space for any event you're looking to organize.
We are already planning another event for the fall, and look forward to working with Hansen again!
