I had a wonderful stay at Sierra Circles — it was my third time here. The peaceful setting, interactive art, large unique campsites, and thoughtful amenities make this one of my favorite places to camp, especially on Highway 4. It was the perfect basecamp to fish the North Fork Stanislaus at Calaveras Big Trees and Sourgrass.
I am so appreciative of Michel’s hospitality and enthusiasm. He tells the very best stories and his exuberance for life is inspiring.
Can’t wait to come back!

Sierra Circles is a treasure of a find. Michel is so welcoming and a fabulous host. The campsites are wonderful. What is really sweet about this place is the community. Beyond they art sculptures on the property there is a ceramics kiln and studio open Th-Sun, a vineyard with wine tasting, and trails labeled around the property. Definitely will stay here again. This place is also surrounded with great hiking trails so you can leave for a day hike elsewhere.
Fabulous stay. 💜

This spot had everything, great camping area, small hikes through the woods, art, wild flowers and wine! Very fun atmosphere and a lot going on throughout the property. We are excited to come back and see a live show or maybe even a Shakespeare performance. Special thanks to Michael the host for ensuring that we had everything we needed and making the experience magical!
We loved staying at Sierra Circles Sculpture garden! Michael was ready for us when we arrived and was more than accommodating. Enjoyed a sweet sunset picnic in the middle of the sculptures, views abound. The metal art piece at our site kept us warm through the night. Sunrise upon the forest was magical. We wished our plans worked out to stay longer. We will be back!
Beautiful location; each campsite offering something unique. The art work is amazing and I enjoyed walking some of the trails. Great for dogs. Clean porta potties and helped having money portable water for dishes. Fire pit was great and appreciated the wood being supplied. Loved walking down to the Brice Vineyard tasting room. Everyone was friends and Michel is a great host.

We love Sierra circles! We are returning guests and had such a lovely time! The sites are spacious and the campground in general is well adorned with tables, water and amazing art! We’ll be back
We loved it! Our third time back and this time we brought friends. Always an amazing time and amazing hospitality.
Michel was so welcoming and the camping area is beautiful. Lots of privacy between each site. Michel’s sculpture garden is so unique and interesting to stroll through. I loved that I could walk my dog right from my campsite on the trails that weave through some of the 90+ acres of land. I would highly recommend this property!
