Minutes from the heart of Temecula Wine Country, Shadow Hills provides beautiful panoramic views in a peaceful setting. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching hot air balloons glide through the morning sky. Then make the short trip to Wine Country for award winning wines, food and events. Shadow Hills is a former eucalyptus farm on 4 acres in Temecula Wine Country. We love our little SoCal ranch and look forward to sharing it with you! The campsites are located near the top of the property and are easily accessed using the paved driveway. The local wildlife includes hawks, bunnies, birds, lizards, coyotes, and, on rare occasions, deer, snakes and bobcats. Shadow Hills provides a quiet and rustic environment within reach of Temecula wines, events, and cuisine.

Wonderful place!

This site is flat, the well water is delicious, and the host was immediately responsive. And it's just far enough away from town to be so quiet at night, but an easy commute to go to tastings. Great stay!

Shadow Hills Wine Country - Pepper

Garth and his wife are friendly, good folks and excellent camp hosts, their property is absolutely beautiful!. Their place is extremely convenient to the Temecula area wineries, just minutes away from 2 top notch wineries. We stayed in Pepper and enjoyed 2 nights with fabulous sunsets with delicious wine. There was a large group in two other two camp sites during our first night. They were relatively quiet and shut down their generators at a reasonable hour. The 2 neighboring houses are airbnbs, the renter may or may not be up partying on the weekend 😉 Sunday night was quiet and lovely!

Shadow Hills Wine Country - Pepper

Beautiful overlook

We stayed at the Pepper site which had a gorgeous overlook! The site included a firepit, two chairs and picnic table. We pulled our van right up and enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and sunrise ! Woke up early to catch the hot air balloons you could see from the property. Garth and his wife greeted us and were extremely friendly. We would love to stay again!
