Welcome Hipcampers! PLEASE read all of the below before booking!  Please be advised that if you do not have Verizon wireless, you will lose service at some point! Please read/screenshot/print the BELOW DIRECTIONS and we are always here to help before you lose service! We have over 10 acres of stunning campground nestled only 15-20 minutes from the North entrance to the Sequoias!  We have multiple sites to accommodate every type of camping from tent camping to tents-attached-to-cars and trucks, to pop-up campers to RVs with power and water hookups and RV sites without power and water. Please see our RV hook up spaces on our sister post! (RV sites at Sequoia Mountain Farms) Site numbers are not used...which allows you to pick any open area on the 10 acres. We have many sites made for you to choose from! There are wonderful views down into the valley, at night with sunsets off-the-hook, and city lights twinkling in the valley distance. Pick your spot and enjoy! First come-first serve, with multiple sites for large groups. The house/ lodge is now open for all campers to access 24/7!!! Amenities include; full kitchen with light cookwear, coffee press (and usually coffee) refrigerator, bathrooms, showers, TV, board games, and bbq, WI-fi, charging stations for laptops, phones and devices. Please bring your own soap, towles, spices and accesories. Feel free to make yourself at home. You are welcome to come right in and make coffee or breakfast! If the host is not there when you get there, feel free to come right in the back door. Wifi jetpak is on the table. DIRECTIONS: The Pinehurst Lodge is on google, an easy reference point and is 1 minute away (great burgers, usually open from 2 to 9 pm, but call for hours). Also, navigator apps push anyone coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. Totally doable, but we can't recommend continuing north on the 99 to fresno and then heading east on the 180. Its a faster and much smoother drive. Also, it takes you right by the nearest gas station on your way up! Coming east on the 180 out of fresno, the last gas station is Vallero at 35468 E Kings Canyon Rd. aka Clingins Junction. From Clingins, head east on the 180 for exactly 9.8 miles to the 245 highway, make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around. Once on the 245, go 5 miles south. On your right you will pass the Pinehurst Lodge and then the Pinehurst "worksource center" and we and the apple ranch with an ole chiminey from the late 1800s in the front yard directly off the highway (its actually just a country road)! If you hit the 'leaving sequois national forest' sign and the community center, you went too far. There are many tent sites around and behind the house and plenty of parking! To get to the lower sections of the camp, please walk the road to make sure your vehicle can get back up first! If not plesse feel free to park anywhere up top and walk to your site down below. There are 2 lower roads. The one furthest from the house is the most gradual. When wet after a rain 4x4 is required to access the lower sections and get back up. Please check the weather before your stay. When not wet ALL cars can make it!! Please message us for any questions! We are happy to help! We look forward to seeing you soon at Sequoia Mountain Farms!!! :)

A great place to stay! Quiet and beautiful for stargazing. Goats were very friendly too! Booked last minute and still so accommodating and nice. You lose service near there so be mindful with directions.

Awesome place. I loved the freedom of choosing my spot. We wanted something more isolated and we found some good spots out back behind the pond. Had WiFi up by the house and it worked well for emails and such but wasn’t strong enough to stream movies. Trails in the park were close by and I liked the convenience.

I made this stay at the last minute and received all the directions and introduction shortly after. They made sure to let me know that I would lose service but provided thorough directions. The views are absolutely gorgeous! The area is wide open but it’s such a safe place to camp and stay. It’s not far from Sequoia and Kings Canyon which we had such a great time exploring. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to camp anywhere near this location!

This Hipcamp site is going to be amazing & we enjoyed our stay. Our host Andrew is creating a friendly, welcoming place to stop & rest that is close to Kings Canyon National Park. Andrew makes an extra effort to offer indoor bathrooms and water to his guests. He even provides wifi at the house with a wealth of resources to help you plan hikes & trips to the park. We were really impressed by Andrew & his team’s warm & friendly willingness to help with anything. I would definitely come back. He is making a big effort to make his land camper-friendly and I’m sure it will be!! Thanks for the hospitality, Andrew & Mark!!

This place is awesome. It’s a large property and incredibly quiet but having the lodge and camp sites close, but not too close, to everyone makes you feel good being out in the great expanse. Bathrooms, kitchen, picnic tables, this place has it all! 10/10 would recommend.

Thank you, Andrew! We’ll definitely be back again soon.
