We stayed 3 nights here for the long weekend, the views make this site what it is. The toilets were clean & the short walk there didn't bother us - fair trade for having the tents on the cliff side.

It would be awesome if Benjamin added a picnic table, and potentially a food storage box. I think other guests would appreciate it, and since its a bit of a hike down it would have been great to not have to bring our own table and storage set up.

The price may seem a bit steep, but you get exactly what you are looking at in the pictures. For us it was fair, we couldn't get state park availability on 2 months notice and we didn't know about the nearby county parks. Plus, the nearby county parks are a great area, but don't offer Benjamins view. It was truly an experience and we would totally recommend it if you can swing the $, especially with a few friends - there is tons of space for tents!

The cat Simone, as others have mentioned is the friendliest cat we've ever met!! We didn't want to let her in our tent (we have a dog with us), and on the last night she unfortunately spent the entire night clawing at the tent to get in. 2 small holes to patch. We took her back to the house under the deck a couple times but she was determined to join us. I don't think Benjamin was around during our stay so she probably missed her human. Overall a funny situation but if you are distressed by cats you might not find it as entertaining as we did.

Benjamin's campsite was gorgeous. A lovely spot on the edge of a bluff overlooking the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean against the rugged Northern California coast. A true feast for the senses. We only stayed one night but what an amazing way to cap off New Year's day 2022!

SSP was absolutely amazing - the views were even better than the pictures and we got lucky and caught amazing weather! Ben was also super friendly and greeted us once we arrived and pointed us to the campsite, which was a very easy walk from where we parked. Will definitely try stopping by again in the future! :)

This was my third time staying on Benjamin's land and this experience was just as magical this time as has been in the past. It's hard to beat the views and The site is very well maintained. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
