Sherwood cottage is a one bedroom one bath home with full kitchen. It was built in the year 1900 and is the original home on the property. The cottage is rustic with tons of character. Beautiful and comfortable farm decor. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven. Cozy living room with day bed/trundle (two twin beds) Apple TV, love seat and game shelf. The Bedroom is furnished with a beautiful hand carved full sized bed and dresser set from the mid 1800's. Sitting areas in the back and front of the cottage with views of the baby doll sheep, mini horses and camel. Or enjoy the sunsets and beautiful landscaped surroundings. Feel free to take a stroll around the ranch and look at the ostrich, chickens and other animals. Sit and swing under the 300 year old oak tree or look up to the country sky and stargaze at night. Your visit includes a hands on tour of our ranch and animals. All of our furry and feathered friends are very social and most have a special rescue story. Guest are also invited to help with a feeding in the morning or evening. Hold a Flemish giant rabbit and pet a potbellied pig all in the same day. For offsite entertainment you may choose to visit one of the 33 Santa Clara valley wineries nearby or visit the hiking trails of Mount Madonna. We are 5 minutes from downtown antique stores, coffee shops and more. Also about 5 minutes from Gilroy outlet mall. State beaches are just a 30 minute drive away and Gilroy Gardens is just minutes away. Royalty ranch is a working farm and may have other visitors or events happening during your stay. Royal T Ranch and Sherwood cottage is a smoke free environment.Please remember that you stay at Royal-T Ranch at your own risk. We have live animals that are friendly however any thing with a mouth can bite and anything with feet can kick. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to customize your stay.

We had the absolute best time at Royal-T Ranch. Lance and Todd were friendly and helpful and so great with our kids! Honestly they are some of the nicest people I had ever met and our kids stayed busy and happy the whole time we were there. The animals are amazing and it was overall a super cool experience that we hope to repeat soon. It also really helps that they are close to grocery stores and within delivery range for door dash 😅
