Best Hipcamp experience I've ever had! We stopped by The Cedars as our last stop on a 2-week camping road trip. We've already decided to come back and stay here for a whole weekend. The site is perfectly situated, private and beautiful. The tent is simply fantastic and super well decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept into 8:15 AM! (normally while sleeping on the ground in a tent, we're both up by 6 or so and ready to get up off the ground.)
We spent the morning walking around the ranch and meeting the pigs, geese, goats and chickens. It was so fun, and the ranch dog showed us around.
If you eat meat, we high recommend bringing cash to buy meat/eggs from the farm. We bought bacon and cooked it up in the morning–– best bacon we've ever had! We wish we had bought more meat and eggs to take home with us.
What a gem! Located on the coolest little farm in the perfect location. Etna is a rad little mountain town only a handful of minutes from the farm. Cute little main street with everything you need.
Try the South Fork Bakery. Unreal cinnamon rolls.
Super easy access to the local area attractions. Plus lots to explore on the property. THE PIGS are the cutest & a hoot to watch.
The tent has all amenities you need while glamping. Water & wood was provided. Fun & quirky reading material was much appreciated.
We drove out of Sawyer Bar & it was beautiful. Stay a couple days to really appreciate all this place has to offer.
This place exceeded all expectations, it was absoloutely amazing! Although we didn't get to meet Craig, Jen was a wonderful host. We fell in love with their dog Indie who is quite possibly the cutest, sweetest dog ever. We also were blessed with the company of two wonderful kittens that actually ended up cuddling with us through the night! I did not want to leave and I wish that we would have planned a longer stay! I would most definitely go back.

This place was so beautiful! An amazing farm oasis. It admittedly seemed a bit pricey on the start, but it is was SO WORTH IT. The site is amazing well kept, the bed was comfortable, I got a Private tour of the farm and had all the luxuries of “glamping” at my fingertips! I’ll definitely be back. Lovely venue!

I had a really great time here with my partner. We came in for one night. It was really easy to find, and Craig was quick with the communication. When we got there he told us all about the property and took us to the camp location. He showed us all the amenities and then let us do our thing. We were welcome to explore the property, and we took full advantage. It felt like an adventure at every turn. Indy, the ranch dog is one of the sweetest dogs on the planet. The next morning we had to head out pretty early, and although Craig was gone he hooked us up with the ranch hands so we could get some fresh eggs and bacon. Make sure to do that on your way out. I've already told a few people about it and I just got back into work today. Thanks again to our hosts.
It was such a wonderful experience staying at a working ranch. Walking the property with all the animals was magical. The campsite was well maintained and the tent was roomy, comfortable, and had many sweet touches. Craig was a great host and made us feel right at home.

Thank you so much, Hannah! We loved meeting you and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back anytime! :)
We made a quick stopover at The Cedars en-route from Portland to SF and were very happy with our experience. The accommodations were above and beyond expectations - the bed was very comfortable, the linens/bedding plush and warm, the distressed wood table, antique end tables, many small, finishing touches (custom mugs, books), and last but not least, the ability to see and hear the campfire from bed through the tend window. Craig and Jen were great hosts. They were very responsive, passionate about the ranch, detail oriented, and knowledgeable about the local area. Finally, we appreciated the away-from-it-all feel of the campground where we were surrounded by dense trees, bright stars, and the peaceful sounds of the woods.

Thank you so much for your stay, Noam! We'd love to have you back anytime! :)
Rockside Farm was definitely one of the best campsites we've had the chance to visit. We stayed at the Cedar site and we're blown away by the amenities and layout. Think fire pit, grill, and king size bed!
Craig and Jenn are amazing people and extremely gracious hosts. Craig even took the time to show us the morning egg harvest.
10/10 would recommend this site to all.

Thanks so much for visiting! We loved having you and hope to see you again soon! :)
I loved sitting in the maple grove with my dog.
