My friend and I had an awesome time staying at the yurt. We ended up staying inside most of the time due to wildfire smoke, but we actually had a blast. The yurt had fans, wifi, and kitchen to keep us comfortable and relax. We would definitely stay again.

We loved this place! Big, beautiful, remote. The outdoor tub is fantastic!
We were there with a heat wave. Temperatures up to 106 degrees made it too hot to be in the yurt during the day, but it cooled off for a comfortable night’s sleep.
I recommend the Yuba Yurt and would come again!
You have to take out your own garbage, but the local transfer station on Flume Rd is easy, only $6.91 for a bag of garbage and all of your recycling.
North San Juan has a great cafe and thrift store!

Thoughtful and clear. Our stay was very cozy. It was a great getaway, no neighbors to be seen (and no fireworks to be heard for our furry one). Was pretty warm in early July but there’s plenty options to stay cool in the area. Close to Bullards Bar Reservoir but since the water level was low we opted for Oregon Creek day use area. It was amazing. The water was super pleasant and there were plenty of swimming holes. We took some cold baths in the outdoor tub which turned out to be excellent feature of this place, as expected.

Bed is comfortable memory foam.
Plenty lights.
Games were a nice addition.

There is plenty kitchen equipment and thoughtful hints that are useful for those who haven’t stayed in Yurt before. If you are picky about coffee, I would bring recommend to bring your fresh grounds, or buy at the nearby Mother Truckers market.

The people in the community were extremely nice. Way above average nice.

The yuba yurt was a perfect getaway for my pup and I. It was comfortable, and spacious. The outdoor bathtub was so relaxing, reading a book with a glass of wine in the tub was def the highlight. I also really loved eating on the deck. The yuba yurt is very private and removed, which made it a quiet place to escape work/pandemic stress. My pup really liked exploring and sniffing around in the trees. I have already shared the yurt information with numerous friends, and im planning to come back as soon as possible!!

sweet yurt on a warm April day eating avocado toast on the deck was a perfect start to my day. They provide coffee, too! My dog relaxing outside while I cook dinnerGolden hour puppy POV

The Yuba Yurt is what I would call glamping+ with full, stocked kitchen and bathroom, plus claw foot outdoor tub with hot water (aaahhh hot soak!). Lots of attention to detail, in the woods, a short driving distance to some beautiful river hikes (Buttermilk Bend was great!). Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at The Yuba Yurt. It is actually HUGE. Much bigger than a hotel room and has a full, complete kitchen and bathroom inside. It's very well stocked. I was worried we would be cold, but it is nice and cozy inside with the heat on and the wood burning stove makes it even cozier. Taking a bath outside overlooking the beautiful trees was glorious. My kids had a blast. They even have a tv with Disney Plus, Netflix, etc. and board games and books. While there are neighbors down the hill, you really feel that your little space is totally private. We would definitely stay again.

The Yuba yurt is a great place to stay. It’s extremely well-equipped and can definitely accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. The hosts leave lots of helpful tips for the property and staying there one feels very cared for. Highlights were the outdoor bathtub and using the wood stove to heat the place for a cozy feel. I’d like to come back in the summer months when I can utilize the outdoor seating and deck area, which are nice, a little more! Would be an ideal place to stay for a weekend at the Yuba River.

Some winter sun on the yurt.

The place was exactly as pictured. Spacious and cozy. Not only was the place immaculate the kitchen was extremely well-stocked. The wood burning stove kept us warm and busy as we fed it and talked and laughed in the yurt. Loved the place.
