Reptacular Ranch was the perfect getaway! It's so amazing to be able to drive just a few miles out of the city and feel like you are completely "away". Cory was a very accommodating host and will make sure you have whatever you need! Our absolute favorite part of the trip was the petting zoo (of course)! There is a lovely petting zoo that has goats, sheep, alpaca and two of the most loving guard dogs you'll ever meet. We were sure to spend at least an hour hanging out with the animals. There are plenty more animals dispersed all over the property! We spent our night around the campfire between a pen of humungous tortoises and a pen of farm animals, if you're an animal lover you will be in heaven. Once it got dark we were able to enjoy peace and quite for the entire night (even the animals were practically silent). We really enjoyed our stay and we think any animal lover will too!

We had so much fun seeing all of the animals. Probably the only place in Southern California where you can wake up next to a zebra and camel.

The site is accessible, the direction is clear. Not too far from the city but you feel you are emersed in nature. Cory is very nice and accommodating. Greet us upon arrival and introduce everything. We had a wonderful experience with cute and nice animals. Highly recommend!
Wonderful camping destination kids
The Reptacular Ranch is an amazing place, the animals are wonderful and the hosts are very attentive. Only comment: please be sure to check if there is a wedding taking place at the property when you are camping there. It can get quite loud pretty late at night. To Cory's credit, we had been warned about it in advance.

Cory was a great host: easy to communicate with and a great guide. The camping area is in the wedding venue, so it’s more of a glamping experience with power outlets and fancy flush toilets. The site is huge and could host many guests. It features a nice big fire pit.
The price for camping was too expensive. But the money goes towards supporting the animals and rebuild, which is great.
We didn’t realize we would get an animal tour as part of our stay. This was awesome! Cory showed us all the animals. My favorites were the baby goats and the giant snakes!
Understandably because of all the animals, it was a noisy morning, and we woke up many times. But I’d say it’s well worth it for the tour the next day.
There are some nice little hikes from a trailhead just a 5 minute walk down the road.
Overall, a fun, quick trip from LA. I’d recommend it!
Cory gave us an amazing animal tour and the site was very well up-kept. Highly recommended
Great location, friendly and accommodating host. Very well kept grounds. It was beautiful! My whole family approved. We will definitely be back.
We found Reptacular animal ranch on hip camp after eight hours of driving through multiple campgrounds in Ojai with no first come first serve available. We were about to turn around and go home when at 3:30 we were able to book and arrive at 5 PM at their ranch. Directions were very precise and accurate, campsite was very clean for the six of us and since it also serves as a wedding venue at times there were some beautiful lights strung overhead with a massive campfire ring, very nice trailer bathrooms that are tastefully decorated, with a window looking out onto the Vineyard. Cory and his wife Jennifer lead us on a tour of the animals our second day there and they were extremely obliging and sweet to the children with us. Extremely gracious hosts and ranch hands. So knowledgeable. At night you could hear the animals which as an animal lover was a welcomed sound to me. Donkeys, a zebra, camels- the list goes on. You will hear them at night especially their great white Pyrenees dogs Kahlúa And Baco who are very vocal about keeping all of the animals safe at night from the coyotes and mountain lions. The canyon you are nestled in is beautiful. Oak trees for plenty of shade. Will definitely recommend.
