This is an upscale camping experience. There’s no electricity in the treehouse, but we offer a portable electric charger and plenty of warm LED lights at your disposal. This peaceful getaway features a queen size bed and comfortable linens. Enjoy the morning sun or dark night sky from the outdoor porch.
You’ll feel you’re in your own private island, as you descend the walkway to a secluded, enchanting creek beach, with large mossy rocks perfect for sitting, snuggling, or yoga. Dip your toes in the water and enjoy the sounds and sights of this serene and sacred space.
The treehouse is built 20 feet in the air and supported by 2 magnificent Douglas Fir trees. It’s our most recommended anniversary and honeymoon cabin, thanks in part to its off-set location and excellent stargazing from the outdoor deck.
It’s the ultimate accommodation for anyone wanting to experience nature in comfort and privacy.

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Treehouse. It is perfect for relaxing and feeling disconnected. It is right above a creek so the sound of water just made the experience even better. It is not too far from the rest of the camp, a very easy walk. There is no water or electricity at the tree house but the bathhouse at the camp have the nicest showers and bathrooms we've seen on a campsite: better than some hotel.
The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed the little DJ set on Saturday night. We recommend the tree house without hesitation!
The treehouse is an exceptional getaway. It's located at the far end of the property away from other guests. You have complete privacy and the setting is serene with forest on every side and the sounds of the stream below. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to live in a tree for a few days!
The treehouse was beautiful. The problems I have weren’t with the place at all, which is just lovely, but with Hipcamp and the pine grove resort website. It was very hard to tell what to expect and therefore what to bring to the treehouse. I’ll tell you- there ARE linens, including very warm blankets and the pillows were fine, so you don’t need to bring any bedding. So as far as sleeping goes, this is like a hotel.
There is no electricity, water or gas, at the treehouse, although there is water at the center of camp. That’s a 5 minute walk away, and, it’s nicer at the treehouse, so if I went again, I would just bring like 4 gallons of water, so I didn’t have to go to main camp.
Foodwise, this is like camping. If you want to make coffee, you should bring a camping stove. In general, you have to bring camping food - needs neither refrigeration nor cooking, unless you want to bring a camping stove and gas. There are grills at main camp, but it seems like it would be annoying to have to negotiate all that. Like I said, main camp is a 5 minute walk.
There is a path from the treehouse to the creek but there is poison oak everywhere so bring your long pants and long sleeves, and some poison oak remover.
We slept 25 hours in 2 days. This. Bed. Is. Bliss. The birds and creek sounds! Rain on the tin roof. Such a calming place to be.
Now— there’s no fire, no way to boil water, no interior bathroom (its a 5 minute walk away, so we peed in the forest), and no insulation so check the weather and bring a bunch of layers. If that sounds like your jam, then you’re about to be in heaven.
Other tip: We brought a cooler and grabbed charcuterie from the store 2 mins away in town. The cafe next to it is adorable, as is the pizza joint.
Beautiful treehouse! Rustic but very comfortable. Short walk from the treehouse to the communal camping area where you can get water, use the pizza oven or cook over a charcoal grill. There are little trails down to a nice creek. Perfect for a weekend getaway!
Beautiful treehouse with a nice comfy big bed and beautiful views. We ventured down to the creek below the treehouse and the fall colors were stunning. You can see/ hear the creek from the treehouse and it’s so calming. The host was amazing and very helpful. If you happen to go by the grocery store/ market, buy some canned food for the little stray cats over by the dumpster. We ended up coming home with one that was starving and are fostering it. Overall an amazing weekend spent in the trees with our pup.

The Sanctuary Treehouse was amazing! Everything you could want in a treehouse! The rain was coming down and we stayed nice and dry inside the main room. It was the perfect soundtrack for being in the forest!
