Swimming pools open Memorial Day until October. Holidays require a 3 night minimum including Memorial Day,  4th of July & Labor Day.  Well behaved dogs on leash $25/day with prior approval.

Tucked away above the banks of Kelsey Creek is The Sanctuary Treehouse, an idyllic nature getaway. Built mainly from California Redwood, this accommodation boasts clean lines, square corners and rustic feel. It features one bedroom, a large screened-in porch and outdoor deck.

You may awaken to the site of happy, little hummingbirds fluttering about one of the three large, picture windows visible from the comfort of your bed.

This is an upscale camping experience. There’s no electricity in the treehouse, but we offer a portable electric charger and plenty of warm LED lights at your disposal. This peaceful getaway features a queen size bed and comfortable linens.  Enjoy the morning sun from the outdoor porch.

You’ll feel you’re in your own private island, as you descend the walkway to a secluded, enchanting creek beach, with large mossy rocks perfect for sitting, snuggling, or yoga. Dip your toes in the water and enjoy the sounds and sights of this serene and sacred space.

The treehouse is built 20 feet in the air and supported by 2 magnificent Douglas Fir trees. It’s our most recommended anniversary and honeymoon cabin, thanks in part to its off-set location and excellent stargazing from the outdoor deck.

It’s the ultimate accommodation for anyone wanting to experience nature in comfort and privacy.

  • The Sanctuary Treehouse is our most secluded accommodation.
  • This one-bedroom cabin is 190 sq. ft.
  • Standard occupancy is two guests.
  • Take the time to unwind and disconnect. Cell phone service is pretty good. Wifi is available in the main campground area and is not available in the treehouse.
  • Guests staying in The Sanctuary Treehouse are provided with an electric charger,
  • *Prepared breakfast or brunch delivery available upon request and for an additional fee.
  • The shower & bathroom are located in the main camping area, a 3 minute walk away.
  • *Small pets allowed in the treehouse upon approval - $25 fee per pet will be collected upon arrival
  • We can't predict the weather, so please note that in non-summer months, it could be wet, cold or windy. The space isn't heated, and rain can be heard on the tin roof.

The Sanctuary Treehouse was exactly as described. It was the perfect solo weekend, dog friendly getaway! You cannot go wrong with this gorgeous property and secluded cabin. Wow this was the best vacation ever! The treehouse was even better than the photographs- so pristine and peaceful with sounds of the creek below. Joe was beyond helpful and kind, we loved celebrating our anniversary there - would definitely recommend. Tip: they provide the cutest two camping chairs to take down to the stream and a jug of water with two glasses that we used to enjoy a bottle of wine in.

We stayed for two nights and we really loved it. The treehouse was very beautiful and comfortable. There's a creek and pool to have fun. Our puppy loved this place. Joe was also a very nice host and everyone was very friendly.

What an awesome/friendly stay.

The treehouse is located on the camping grounds but tucked away so you feel isolated (in a good way). You get access to the campground pool when you want to relax and then can stroll to your tree house to do introspection.

I loved it. Will come back :)

Waking up in the treehouse was magical, one of the best experiences. The treehouse was beautiful and comfortable. Great creek down to explore below, and fun pool to cool off and play with the kids. Our toddler and dog were very happy in the space. Joe was a really kind host and everyone was very friendly. Good bbq at the pool grill. No electricity needed! We brought a little cooler and jet boil for coffee in am.

The treehouse was such a special experience. My kids were thrilled to be sleeping in the treetops, and they loved playing at the creek during the day. The location was very private, especially during the week. Despite the hot temperatures, the canopy kept the area cool, and the beautiful pool was also a great way to refresh.

Joe did great to accommodate us. The treehouse had everything we needed and was super cozy! Campsite had lots to do and was close to a small town with a coffee shop (with internet) and a grocery store. Absolutely loved our stay!

This is a true hidden gem, took my 2 kids away to get away from the horrible school year & this was the perfect kick off to summer. The host Joe was very helpful & attentive to all our needs. The treehouse experience of waking up to the creek flowing & birds chirping was so relaxing. Big pool was a hit & all the butterfly’s was a extra bonus for my daughter. Glad we brought a wagon to bring our stuff up to treehouse. Such a treat & glad to return next year
