We are just 15min drive from Lassen NP and 2-3 min drive to Shingletown center, where you can find a few stores, restaurants and gas stations. RV site comes with a picnic table and fire pit. Just a few sites are within wi-fi range, otherwise best spot to connect is around the office. There is a very nice sitting area in front of the office. Our water is drinkable. Showers and laundry on site. Mini store inside the office. Toy shed for kids. Pets are allowed, no breed restrictions, but dogs must be on a leash at all times.

The campground was very well taken care of, with roomy but not particularly private sites and clean bathrooms and laundry area. The staff were helpful and friendly. However, the price per night was the highest that we paid out of 4 RV parks in California and Oregon, and there was also a 50 cent/3 minute charge for hot showers! Not the best value, in my opinion.
This was our first Hipcamp booking and it was a great experience. We camped (glamped) on a RV hookup site with a Tesla and a tent attached to it. The host invited us to the meet and greet dinner with music. It was a fun experience.
On the road from entertaining @ Red Bluff Round Up, the shower and bathroom here was SPECTACULAR!! and the views of the tall trees from my site were breath taking!! Hope to return again! Thank you kindly. Razz, The Roaming Hillbilly #yeehaw
I was traveling alone with my dog, there were a lot of other people around, camping in tents, etc. Everything and everyone were friendly and nice.

As far as RV parks go, this one is about as lovely as you can get. Tucked away in the trees, close to Lassen. Friendly employees and clean facilities.
Fantastic place. Perfect distance from Lassen National Park. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The place is very well maintained and plenty of distance away from busy roads so it’s very quiet all night long. Very clean bathrooms and showers. My wife and I rented some snow shoes from the office and ended up hiking over six miles, first around Manzanita Lake and then up and down Manzanita Creek. One of the best private campgrounds/RV resorts we’ve ever been to.
