Just steps away from the reservoir, our seriously cool Airstream remodel was designed for a nature-loving couple and features fireplace and outdoor area ready for relaxation.. Mellow community vibes, kayaks, SUP, stargazing, outdoor kitchen, Saturday bonfire nights, and more for wilderness nature and bug-loving mountain going adventure seekers keen to discover the Eastern Sierra.

We have standard 3-night minimum but we may be able to lower it to 1-2 nights at short notice (same week or within a week or two, especially on weekdays) if our cleaning schedule allows, please ask or check the upcoming dates as minimum may be lowered already.

Please read through the entire listing to find out more about the Sierra Stream Camper and our place. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your adventures in the Sierra!

The Sierra Stream camper, our seriously cool Airstream remodel, is designed for a nature-loving couple, but could also accommodate a family with a baby co-sleeping with parents. There's a space for a 2-person tent that can be pitched outside the trailer for an extra fee, if there are additional 1-2 people keen on joining you (so up to four guests in total can stay here: two in the trailer and further two tent camping outside), please ask prior to requesting the booking.

Short walk from the reservoir, the Sierra Stream features a queen size bed with scenic mountain backdrop painted by previous owner Veronika and woodwork created by our friend Peter. A full size farmhouse sink, fireplace, library, spectacular view of the mountains and the reservoir, induction stove, Chemex coffee maker, cozy seating/dining area are just a few of our favorite things. Fridge, microwave and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. An "oh so cozy" down comforter, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided, and hot spring towels are available upon request.

Even though Sierra Stream offers many "luxuries", it DOES NOT have a toilet or shower. We wanted you to enjoy an open layout with tons of space and proximity to the reservoir (this camper is located the closest to the shore). Including the shower/toilet would require hooking this camper up to septic, which wouldn't be possible at the current spot. We believe the location and the view you'll be getting are worth a little walk to our immaculate communal bathrooms (about 100 yards away).

The camper has a high speed (1GB) fiber optic WIFI internet, cooling system, and an outside seating area with fire pit, barbecue and ultra cool camp stove. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir.

The rate includes space rent, propane, our awesome wifi, one parking spot as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). There's an additional flat rate for optional tent camping (regardless if 1 or 2 people camp) - please set the number of campers to three and let us know if 3 or 4 people will be coming to stay. We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking at extra fee. Please message us prior to booking with dates you're hoping to stay with us, so we can enable the "Extra Vehicle Fee" option for you.

We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our home. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities available in the area, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.

We encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slower paced life but do have WIFI internet. And not just any WIFI but blazing fast (1GB) fiber optic internet broadcast over mesh network. There’s never been a better time to move your office away from the city and into the nature if you’re looking for an extended workcation. You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer! If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you're welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, weather permitting). We're the best fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet others.

Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!

Did we mention that we love dogs? You will see them around the camp. They're strictly not allowed in this camper but we could possibly accommodate one mellow dog if s/he stays with your friends tent camping outside the Airstream - please let us know the pup's breed when requesting the booking. Please keep your pup on leash when at the camp and pick up after him/her. Thank you in advance for your consideration. With dog wash and dog beach, the adventure pup will be a happy camper here!

We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.

Please note, our minimum stay requirements in the Sierra Stream camper varies through the season, based on remaining available dates and our enhanced cleaning schedule.

Occasionally, we may be able to relax the minimum at short notice (within a week or so prior to the date) and based on availability, please ask.

I simply love it.

First time in an airstream and everything was perfect. The place is furnished with all the necessities and even woods for the fire, that was a must for our starry chilly nights outside.
How to have a peaceful and amazing experience in the beautiful nature near Bridgeport.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and reached out several times to check in on how we were doing. The stream itself was so cute and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The best part of the whole experience was the view. It’s right on a reservoir with a beautiful view of the mountains!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say.

My husband and 9yo daughter stayed at Sierra Stream for 4 nights in July. The Airstream was clean and complete with everything we needed for cooking. Towels and some snacks were also provided. The decor was so chic. The AC was actually super cold even in low setting that you will need to sleep under the blankets. The communal bathrooms were clean, and not too far from the Airstream. There were some toiletries available, just in case you forgot to pack some stuff. The surroundings were well-maintained and clean. The little office area was so cute too. They have firewood available for purchase if you need some. There were also SUP available for no charge. We did not get to use them as we had a packed schedule and daily itinerary. Veronika, the owner, was so sweet and thoughtful. She checked up on us a few times via text to make sure we were settled comfortably and did not need anything else. The sunsets over the reservoir were soo beautiful. We looked forward to watching them as we ate dinner at the picnic table outside of our Airstream. The location was close to Bridgeport town, Bodie Historic State Park, and Travertine Hot Springs. We look forward to coming back again someday and inviting some of our friends and/or family. Thank you, Veronika and Paradise Shores Family for sharing your paradise with my family.

Loved our stay at Sierra Stream! It has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen with oil, salt & pepper, snacks and coffee included, towels, and AC/heat. Unfortunately it didn’t have a bathroom but it was a short walk away and very clean for a shared bathroom. The bugs come out in full force in the evening so the screen door and fly swatter was much appreciated. Veronika has a helpful guidebook with activities and tips inside the trailer. I would highly recommend the Sierra Stream for those wanting a comfortable stay while exploring the great outdoors!

We had such a great stay in the Sierra Stream! The hosts were very communicative and responsive. The camper and the campground were immaculately clean and well maintained. It was a great basecamp for many Eastern Sierra activities, including Bodie, the Buckeye Hot Springs and the June Lake Loop. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Sunset view from the campsite, so amazing!

We will definitely come back to Paradise Shores Camp and stay at Sierra Streamer. Beautiful spot, very clean inside and out, and plenty of privacy while still feeling like part of a camping community. Excellent location, and the bathrooms were spotless!! Very close to Bodie State Historic Park, which is worth the trip alone. Paradise Shores Camp was a great place to kayak and watch pelicans.

We stayed in the Sierra Stream Airstream camper. The site is a nice corner location near the beach. It sits just behind one tent camping site. The outdoor area is supplied with a picnic table, outdoor camping oven, Weber grill, chimanea, and 3 chairs with cushions. All the amenities for using the BBQ are also included for cooking. Inside the Airstream is a queen size bed (?) and mostly stocked kitchen area for cooking and prep ( plates, utensils, cutting knives, pans, whisk, spatula). There is a small refrigerator with a small freezer inside, microwave, toaster, drip coffee and french press coffee maker. The induction stove top is easy and convenient to use and a nice counter top for food prep and storage. Olive oil, salt and pepper were also available in the pantry area.
There is air conditioning, that is very useful since the windows of the airstream are closed ( You'll want to keep those Mayflies out). There is a small dining area towards the front of the trailer where we ate most of our meals and played games. Since the trailer only sleeps two, there is 1 designated space to pitch a tent on the site where I slept. It was peaceful and comfortable. On this site you get a very nice breeze most of the time. There isn't much shade on this particular site, there is one small tree, but doesn't help during mid day. Since we were out most of the day, that didn't much matter, but it may be worth bringing a canopy to shade the picnic table or over the door/deck area if you need more shade. In the late afternoons and early evenings, the Mayflies can be a bit much. The breeze will blow out any citronella candles unless they are placed on the ground. The chimanea was very helpful with this, when lit it helped keep them at bay. Firewood and kindling are available at the office. Firewood is $7.
The tent campers and small rv/van campers without restrooms are permitted to use the bathroom facilities. They are very clean and maintained regularly. During COVID-19 pandemic, guests are reminded to maintain a 6 ft distance if you are not travelling together. There are 2 shower stalls in the women's bathroom, 3 toilet stalls and 3 sinks.
The reservoir was a nice respite to cool off during our stay last weekend. The hosts were very helpful and available if you needed anything.
We spent most of our time exploring the local hiking ( outside Yosemite and other local lake trails). They were awesome.
At this site, we were easily able to socially distance and always have face coverings with us, especially in the bathroom area. The space available at Paradise Shores was a wonderful escape for us, our first outing since the pandemic started in March. We appreciated most of the guests were respectful of the social distancing rules on the busy Fourth of July weekend. Our stay was enjoyable. Thank you to Charlie and Kelli, our hosts, for being ready to help and so friendly.

The camper is very spacious and we feel very comfortable. There was a camp fire on Saturday night where the hosts played music and we enjoyed home made desert together. The campsite is beautiful right on the water. It's quite and peaceful
