This spacious family camper sleeps five comfortably. So gather your friends and make it your home while adventuring in the Sierra.. Mellow community vibes, kayaks, SUP, stargazing, outdoor kitchen, Saturday bonfire nights, and more for wilderness nature and bug-loving adventure seekers keen to discover the Eastern Sierra. Please message us if you need to accommodate five people, so we can add extra guest/fee for you manually.

Standard 4-night minimum but we may be able to lower it to 1-3 nights at short notice (same week or within a week or two, especially on weekdays) if our cleaning schedule allows, please ask or check the upcoming dates as minimum may be lowered already.

Please read through the entire listing to find out more about Sierra Camper and our camp. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your Sierra explorations :-)

The Sierra Camper sleeps five comfortably. With queen size bed, two bunk beds, a play area that can be turn into king size bed, there's plenty of room for everyone. The private bathroom is large and has a separate outdoor entrance. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster are all provided. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. Bed sheets, towels, blankets, and dish towels are ready for your use. The trailer also has a flat screen TV with DVD player, high speed (1GB) fiber optic WIFI internet, cooling system, and an outside area with outdoor furniture. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling, and you can buy firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered.

The rate includes space rent, propane, our awesome wifi, one parking spot as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking for an additional charge. Please message us prior to booking with dates you're hoping to stay with us, so we can enable the "Extra Vehicle Fee" option for you.

We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our home. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities available in the area, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.

We encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slower paced life but do have WIFI internet. And not just any WIFI but blazing fast (1GB) fiber optic internet broadcast over mesh network. There’s never been a better time to move your office away from the city and into the nature if you’re looking for an extended workcation. You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer! If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have bonfires on most Saturdays, weather permitting). We're the best fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet others.

Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year, and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!

We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.

Please note, our minimum stay requirements in the Sierra camper may vary some through the season, based on remaining available dates and our enhanced cleaning schedule.

Occasionally, we relax the minimum at short notice (within a week or so prior to the date) and based on availability, please ask.

My family loved staying at the Lakeview Sierra camper in Bridgeport. Although, we didn't end up out on the reservoir during our visit we travelled to many amazing spots close by. The site was very welcoming and peaceful. My kids didn't want to leave. Thank you to Peter for being a wonderful host.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Paradise Shores. Paradise Shores was conveniently situated for us to explore the Eastern Sierras for the first time: the area has a unique feeling of the frontier, from the rugged, panoramic vistas to its central history in the gold rush. The old town of Bodie was fascinating.

The Sierra Camper was cozy in the evenings, and a welcome respite from the heat during the days. Thoughtfully designed, and the bunk beds were a big hit with the two kids. We loved the stones-throw distance from the water, and the memorable sunsets against the mountain backdrop. Also, it's a 5 minute drive from the cute town of Bridgeport for picking up groceries and restaurants for take-out. We liked the Bridgeport Inn and the Burger/Mexican joints.

Veronika and Alan were gracious, organized hosts, and went above and beyond for us -- We appreciated that they were discrete, but also very responsive. I felt they were taking all the precautions to keep the community safe during COVID times.

We LOVED our stay. It was my first “glamping” experience in an RV and it was super fun. It had all the basics so I brought my own food and charcoal. My son had a ton of fun swimming and playing down at the water. There is an amazing view of the snow capped sierras and and it is truly peaceful. The RV has a cozy deck with bbq and fire ring. There was a lot of children who all played together and had a blast. We ventured out to different lakes and the hot springs. There are many adventures within a short drive and if you need anything the town is 5 minutes away. Be prepared for mosquitos and mayflies as the location is near standing water. It is very hot in summer and there is no shade by the beach so bring an umbrella and use sunscreen. I stayed in Sierra camper and was having to kill wasps inside my RV daily. I’m not sure how they were getting in.... but I plugged up every opening to the outside I could find and they still got in. The RV was super nice, complete kitchen and AC! We were cool and comfy. I 100% recommend staying at paradise shores. It’s truly a gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Shores. My kids have been dying to stay in a camper and they were not disappointed. Alan and Veronika were so kind and accommodating. They really care about special touches and ensuring everyone is comfortable. You see it in the beautiful gardens across the RV Park, the hang out spots and the community bathrooms. The spot could not be more beautiful. We loved kayaking, paddle boating, swimming in the lake, and watching the gorgeous sunset. Bridgeport is a great spot to explore the Sierras. I want to go back!
