The Blu House features private hot tub, fireplace, large screen projector with home theater and tons of character. This mobile home offers lake access and incredible serenity, especially wintertime. We hope you'll find yourself and adventure in our piece of paradise. In the summer: mellow community vibes of our RV camp, kayaks, stargazing, Saturday bonfire nights, and more for wilderness nature and bug-loving mountain going adventure seekers keen to discover the Eastern Sierra.

Please read through the entire listing to find out more about the Blu House and our place. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your next escape to the Eastern Sierra!

Welcome to the Blu House! If you looks closely, you’ll find signs of a family growing up in this home; the marks of the little one's heights etched on the door frame; pictures moved up and down leaving the tell tale nail holes. The house does tell the story of love and family growth, intertwined with the passion for the Eastern Sierra.. And then there are the birds chirping, the snow-capped mountains, the magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the reservoir, and unspeakable beauty of this country one can easily fall in love with. We open our home to you and hope you love it as much as we do.

The year-round Blu House sleeps five and is a perfect fit for a family or group of friends who know each other well and are pretty comfortable together. The primary bedroom comes with super comfy queen size bed and en suite full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has adult size queen over queen bunk beds. There's also a second half bathroom  with sink and toilet across the hallway from the primary bedroom. Please note that both, main bedroom and its bathroom, have curtains instead of door to maximize on the space, we hope you will be comfortable with this setup and will embrace it.

A private hot tub, full size farmhouse sink, wood burning stove (one bundle of firewood provided) and large screen projector with home theater (DVDs provided) are just a few of our favorite features.

You can't beat the serenity of this place, especially in the winter. The house and pretty much the whole area is just incredibly peaceful between November and March and it's a perfect destination to experience the winter magic, be still and see into the heart of the universe (stargazing is off the hook here!), and get away from the city hustle and bustle.

French door fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. You’ll also find there coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil.

The "oh so cozy" down comforters, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided. You're welcome to use our washer/dryer and the dishwasher (we provide detergents).

This mobile home has a WiFi, cooling system, and an outside seating area with ultra cool hot tub. In the summer, there's also a barbecue and we provide charcoal briquettes for it, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered.

Our rate includes space rent, propane, wifi, parking spot for one car as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking. Please message us prior to booking with dates you're hoping to stay with us, so we can enable the "Extra Vehicle Fee" option for you. We have free extra parking available in the winter (November - March).

We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our newly adopted home. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities available in the area, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.

Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year, and will be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards but we recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir (in the summer season). We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!

We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. Summertime, If you come to stay with us at the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, weather permitting).

Did we mention that we love dogs? You will see them around the camp in the summer but they're not allowed at the house.

We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here. The Blu House is located 2 miles from the historic town of Bridgeport. Bridgeport is a cute little town with couple restaurants, sporting store, gift shops, bakery etc. We've put together a guestbook with some useful recommendations, which you'll find in the house along with the house manual.

You'll have access to the entire house. When our RV camp is open (late April through mid-October) you are also welcome to hang out at our various common areas with fireplaces and barbecues, which we tend to improve every year. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir in the mid-spring through early fall and for your winter fun, there's June Mountain ski area 45 minutes drive away and Mammoth Mountain ski area an hour drive away from here. Closer to the house, you can venture into Virginia Lakes area overlooking Mono Lake to ski or snowshoe there and end your daily adventures soaking in the unique Travertine Hot Springs located just 10 minutes from here.

Please note, our minimum stay requirements in the Blu House may vary through the year, based on remaining available dates and our enhanced cleaning schedule. We typically ask for minimum 2 nights over the winter, and 4 nights around holidays.

Stay here!!! If we had a wonderful time despite some of the most challenging weather (winter storm on Thanksgiving weekend), then you can have fun anytime. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals together and Veronika has a fantastic book collection, esp if you love art. Beds were very comfy and bathrooms were sparking. Bridgeport is quiet in winter, but we found plenty of snow activities to do with the Travertine hot springs, building snowmen at Mono Lake, and hikes nearby. Veronika was highly responsive and helpful, which was very reassuring considering we were a bunch of Southerners who didn't know what snowchains were until last week. Lol.

A+ host, cute, cozy house (looks just as good as pics!) great town w/ proximity to Yosemite/Tahoe (in summer), and plenty of ways to stay amused. Will totally stay again!

Thanksgiving (sans turkey, oops)! Paradise ShoresTravertine Hot springs! Was painful to leave....bring the towels provided in closet (we forgot)
