This place offers a nice view if you hike up the main mountain in front of the meadow. There is no water available. A small water hole is around but it is hard to access and the water is green with pollen. Bring your own water. There is a good deal of privacy and space to explore. The only other drawbacks are the limited clearings for setting camp. Grass is high, and there are ticks, so make sure you bring proper gear. Also, limited shade during the day, so find a nice tree or bring an umbrella.

My partner, dog and I came for a quick nature getaway. The location wasn't too difficult to get to. Definitely check in with the host to see where to park, it was a bit harder with my small car. There was so much space and land for my pup to run around. She was the happiest. The night sky was impeccable. Such a beautiful sight.
There were some other campers on the land as it is so large. It was still such a private and lovely stay. I believe the kitchen/toilets were still being developed.
There are some beautiful lakes not to far from the space as well. The drives and the scenery was great. Host was extremely nice and responsive. Thank you! Overall I recommend.

Very quiet and spacious with great scenery and space to explore. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. It's close to a couple Lakes and there's a little mountain you can hike to the top of with spectacular views of the Gold Country. It's just outside of Coulterville. We brought our pop-up trailer and we had a little difficulty getting to the site where we wanted to be as the out the road
