First time camping
I picked spot number 2 for the tree, chiminea, and picnic table. It was nice and private as I was the only one to book on Thanksgiving. I met one of the dogs who made my mini doxie feel right at home. I car camped in my Subi and it was so convenient to have the picnic table. Unfortunate we had to leave early as my dog wasn't feeling too well (ended up having a uti) which was totally unrelated to the camp site. Otherwise it was a nice and clean spot. I will definitely return.
Great place to stay
Super nice and convenient place if you are traveling in 101
Nice spots, pretty flat with los of gravel to mitigate dust
Clean pit restrooms
Great camp. Site. Nice host that give you space. Old smaller oak groves surround with a hike. Each spot has an old iron stove wich is great and thehost will supply more wood if needed. We stayed at campsite 2 which has the only develped oak try. I would stay away from campsite 1 as the the grade is rather steep. 3 and 4 for sure if you have trailers. Tent campers be warned the terrain is pretty gravelly. All ans all a great time and the trail by the front gate is worth a hike!
Beautiful little spot!
Boutique campground feel with handful of sites. I arrived late and left early but would have loved to spend more time there. Thanks!
Nice spot! Plenty of room for our cars and tents. Our spot was on an incline but it was manageable. Amazing night sky with no lights near by and located in a valley blocking lights from both sides. Super clean portapoty! Thanks so much for hosting us!
We will be back!
Perfect place to set up shop for a long weekend. We took day trips to Lake Nascimento to paddleboard, and Pasa Robles to go to the delicious brewery, and the Cambria to walk around the cute shops! We also highly recommend going to the free wine tasting near the Lockwood market, Marin’s Vineyard! We lucked out and chose camping spots for three and four and we’re traveling with a 32 foot RV and a tent and an SUV, those campsites are flatter than one and two, if traveling with an RV this could be of interest! Thank you so much for the hosts!!! We will be back!
