Greetings Nature Lovers!

We had an amazing 1st season, filled with amazing peeps who all contributed to making us lucky #12 in Cali!

First, I'd like to Thank all of the Hipcamper's whom have chosen to make us part of their travels and journey! A BIG thank you, for all the love and respect you brought with you here; all the yummies shared with the animals; the many treasures you gifted me, including just with your presence; but most importantly, all the little special touches that you felt compelled to leave behind for your fellow Hipcamper's next to visit!

You've all warmed my heart, and make me proud of what beautiful humans you are!

You guys rock, and big love from me to you! xo

This season, we have a awesome new upgraded 12 x 12 Tee Pee tent that will be up soon w/pix to come!

We are so grateful to have visitors who not only care about nature, but also the animals; many who come for that reason…to support the animals at Pixie’s Place.

Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible, so you feel like your visiting friends/family. This is not a party house, it's not a playground or park. We offer a spiritual communion with animals and nature :)

Energetically speaking, this area is an energy vortex, with Native American Indian spirits tied to the history of the land. The river bed is slabs of quartz and granite, making the river and my property a very healing experience.

UFO’s frequently inhabit the pulsating canopy of night sky.

Shamanic Healing sessions are available to book.

Please feel free to message me with questions, or requests :)

(Important for me to know your ETA so that I'm sure to be here to guide you around and introduce you to the animals :)

I look forward to making your experience as special as you are!

shaman Wendi

We are a 420 friendly, artist/writer/shamanic/Hipcamp retreat.

(We also offer a Quantum Healing Shamanic Retreat, which is available to city dwellers through: CrystalSoundQuantumHealing.com.)

We are located at the entrance to Sequoia Nat'l Park/Lake Kaweah, in the village of Three Rivers, CA (Central Cali; between Bakersfield (1 hour and 40 min) and Fresno (1 hour and 10 min.); 30 min up the hill, above Visalia). 3 hours N.E. from L.A.

This listing offers: 1956 11 ft Aluminum "Rainbow" Trailer available for 2 people, with access to the Chalet toilet. Please note: ONLY ONE-TWO people (no pets allowed inside) as it is a 63 year old trailer, I like to treat her gently...lol.

The quaint trailer sits within a permaculture garden at the front of the property, closer to the road; however it is very private, and subdued. There is a Chiminea to cook with or to enjoy sitting in front of for warm when needed. There is an assortment of vintage garden furniture to create a fun outdoor living space!

In addition to the Shamanic Retreat, we offer a camping spot down in a lower area on the 3/4 of an acre property (see listing for details). The main chalet sits above, with a corral and Sanctuary Reading shed in between. The South Fork of the Kaweah River is at the back of the property with a very "sweet" swimming hole to enjoy as long as the water is flowing down the river as it is seasonal depending on drought conditions. However, mid May-late June it's perfect!

I limit the activity here by having only 2 listings; limited to a total of 6 total guests on the property possible between the two listings.

The property is not kid friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo

Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

There may be a retreat being held or not; if there is a retreat, we will have a drum circle if it's a Friday evening; Saturday evening we screen the New Media/Experimental film I made which screened last November in London at Cinema Magic. The animals of Pixie's Place were actors in the film, along with many of the scenes filmed here.

You are welcome to join us, if you'd like:)

Everything works a little bit like a bed and breakfast; a non pretentious environment that supports the animals, self healing; and the enjoyment of sharing this sacred spot I have created.

There is a BBQ grill available for campers to use, along with a fire pit (when Fire Bans are not in place). Plenty of wood to harvest on property or the Village Market up the road.

Feel free to invest in the vegetable garden; help yourself to any available fruit, as well as the abundant fresh Rosemary & Lavender.

Your bookings support the animals whom you can interact with.

We have "Pixie Emelia Aurora" aka "Pea" our mascot; a 10 year old Nubian goat. Siddartha Cloudwalker a Nigerian Dwarf, along with his son, Sage Lyrid Ray, born here on Earth Day 2012!

There are many cats, who each have their stories of how they found their way to Pixie's Place, including bad boy mustang "Hermes Inyo Ray" who is down the street and loves meeting new people!  We take on who we can; assuring all creatures a place they can live, be loved and accepted for their "issues" until the cross the rainbow bridge xo

I am an animal communicator, artist and shamanic practitioner: crystal sound healing, and soul coaching (BMI recording artist; SAG member)

Thank you for being a part of this journey!

We absolutely loved our stay at Wendi's place! We felt welcomed and cared for from the moment we pulled into her driveway.

Wendi gave us a tour of the well curated and comfortable vintage trailer, her gorgeous property, and beautiful A-Frame home.

The trailer is nestled between the backside of Wendi's A-Frame and lots of greenery creating a great private area. It was +100 degrees when we visited so the trailer was warm as expected, but the provided fan which kept us cool throughout the night.

Highlights: Private river access and soaking pools right on the property, shared fire pit and picnic area for trailer & tent campers, friendly goats and cats, and the fact the property is only a short 5 minute drive into town where there is great coffee, food, and grocery.

The south entrance to Sequoia/Kings Canyon is also a short ~10 minute drive away! Great basecamp for exploring the park. I'll definitely be back.

Wendi is so warm and welcoming with an energy that draws you in! She understands the need to escape into the woods and facilitates that by opening up her property and adorable vintage trailer for guests to stay. It was clean with personable touches and we hope to come back soon!

Oh my goodness! We cannot say enough great things about this place and Wendi! First she gave us the most amazing directions to get to the property, making us feel calm and relaxed when we lost cell service. The property itself is magical and allows you to get lost in the best way possible! All the animals are kind and some are a little flirty, so if you love animals this is a place for you! It was the perfect place to stay during our trip to see Sequoia National Forest and we will definitely be back in the warmer months! 2 days was not enough here, it was hard to leave because we fell in love with it! Thank you for everything Wendi! You made our souls blissfully happy!

I planned a trip up here to camp but instead received a spiritual retreat that I will always remember and be thankful for! Wendi is an incredible person and we instantaneously connected. This was my first solo trip and I was NEVER bored. Anytime I left Wendi's to enter Sequoia National Park, after three hours I just wanted to come back here. The goats brought so much joy to me and hearing the roosters was awesome. But they only woke me up the first morning at 7:30 so it was never an annoyance. Every morning there was a huge gang of turkey vultures that circled over the property or hung out in the trees. IT WAS AWESOME.
My favorite spot was the separate little air conditioned cabin reading room. I spent a lot of time in there reading Wendi's books and writing.
I also spent a lot of time talking with Wendi and can say that she is a Mother Hen soul. I just adore her and the conversations were illuminating. And she always gave me my privacy too, she was never invasive of that.
The store is one right turn off the road (SO CLOSE) and Seq. Nat. Park is just 14 min. away. To Big Trees Trail/ Giant Forrest it is 1 hr. away.
I planned for 3 nights and even ended up staying an extra one! I can't wait to go back and I have already recommended this wonderful place to all of my loved ones.
A+, 10/10, would recommend!!

Awww; you are a treasure! I merely reflect the beauty of all you incredible souls who find me here! ...and Jess is one special artist, and soul! I was so honored she found her way "home" to nature; where the heart of the artist is free to wander, dream and be inspired! Big hugs Jess! xox

Wendi is an amazing host and wonderful human!! My wife and I stayed with her for our wedding anniversary and we felt comfortable from the beginning. Wendi was extremely accommodating and her home is magical and calming. She definitely made our anniversary that much more special, and we will never forget the experience.

Stayed with Wendi and her critters for 4 nights and had such a great time. It was just what I needed to unwind, recharge and ground from a long stretch of work. The camper was really cozy, like a little cave and super cute and clean inside. The friendly cats came and visited which I loved!! The private garden outside the camper was charming and I enjoyed having morning tea under the trees. The whole property is super with little nooks to hang out and a great library to hang out in. The goats are the cutest! Wendi is a hoot and an incredible healer (if you feel like a session) really enjoyed our conversations and her vibrant energy.
Only thing I would recommend is ear plugs as there is a rooster who likes to talk...early. If you are a hippy at heart you will love this place... Its a great retreat and close to the park and town for exploring.

What can I say, this gal was awesome! I love that she brought some rocks she has collected, to leave with us, as a token of her lovely presence here! Fabulous energy and tea! As the roosters are simply neighborhood renegades, I don't have any control over them, and simply chalk it up to that in nature, which I cannot control...lol. Barring shooting them, which is not an option; we are just waiting for them to find a new tree to sleep in...somewhere at a distance! Thank you Claudia for your beauty and grace xo

Wendi has a lovely comfy trailer in a tranquil little spot next to her house. Very conveniently located to Sequioa national park. I would note it's not very suitable for dogs, and not particularly private compared to most sites I've visited before using Hipcamp.

Response from Wendi, the Host, on September 1st, 2019

Thank you for your notations; I make it clear my place is not suitable for dogs, and post the reasons.. I also describe the listing accurately as far as where the listing is situated on my property, and such. I'm sorry it did not meet your expectations...all the best!
