Had an awesome stay at hideaway oaks! The site was very private and the hosts were super responsive (and they gave us a lovely hand-painted rock). Plenty of room for cars and tents and the star gazing was great. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Very quiet location with a lot of wildlife. We had a full and very bright moon when we stayed but I expect that the night sky would be quite dark. There is a nice firepit and a picnic table at the site. We were the only people in the area and it was very private and quiet.

Was a tad difficult to find but Karin and Neil led us to the site after we got lost. The mentioned adding a sign or two which would make it easy.

If you are looking to camp without the crowds this site fits the bill.

The picnic table is just out of the shot on the left.

Secluded, well set up, lovely campsite! Had a great time!! Neil and his wife came and found us when we had a hard timing getting there. Definitely recommend!

One thing is the oak trees have prickly leaves so just a tip for when you’re picking campsite shoes!

Great little spot tucked away and private (we were at Hideaway Oaks #1). The owners are very friendly, helpful, and great communicators. And you can have a fire year round! Though it does get quite hot here in summer, at night it’s cool enough to have a fire and well worth the effort.

Our fire pits are very well placed and safe, but we should add that if any local fire restrictions should arise we and our campers will comply. We were glad that Dave and his wife were able to enjoy an outing before the birth of their first child!

Great getaway! Neil & Karin provided specific directions that were helpful in navigating to the campsite. They came over and checked in as we were setting up camp and answered any questions we had. The outhouse is ~posh~ by camping standards, really appreciated the setup there. Would recommend! Only FYI is that things can get dusty.

Just the absolute best place to camp! There were no campsites along PCH so we came here and boy, would we come back (even if there were sites open along PCH). Karen and Neil were the best and it's a great, quiet place to pitch a tent and enjoy the stars.
