Up in the hills that rise above Santa Rosa and the Sonoma Valley, Mystic Mountain is a perfect retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the valleys below. We're a family hobby farm with a vegetable garden that often has goods to harvest. The property is also located in a unique location that has had a very active geologic history. Compressed volcanic ash from an eruption millions of years ago make up the majority of the site's topography, and if you look hard enough you'll also find pieces of petrified wood. An outhouse has also been installed for your convenience and privacy! So come enjoy this slice of heaven located down the road from Safari West, Linked Vineyards, and many other local wineries. Head on up the mountain and relax at your own private campsite while the sun sets over coastal mountain ranges in the distance. Hands down one of the best sunsets in the North Bay! This location sleeps 2 in the cabin and you can pitch a tent or two for any remaining guests.

Quiet and cozy
Comfortable quiet cozy little cabin! I was looking for something safe because my car was full of stuff on my way to move to a new location, so this was a perfect 0it stop along the route. Very quiet and peaceful. 🙂
Damon was a fantastic host. The little glamp cabin was exactly as advertised, and the goats and hiking trail up to the ridge really capped off the end of the day. This place served as a perfect base camp for any Sonoma/ Santa Rosa adventures.
We love wanda!
The place is super private and quiet day time and lots of farm animals that sometimes will come and greet you, our favorite is Wanda. We will miss her! And a pleasant host that gave us free eggs when we ran out of food. Lol. All in all the place is a super nice and chill spot to spend the night. We will come back again!
Convenient getaway in wine country
Beautiful cabin, exactly what we needed for an evening outdoors! Has trash, recycling, and compost, compost toilet was convenient and easy. Clean and quiet, enjoyed watching goats and deer on the great view from the deck.
Camping with family
Mystic mountain cabin is like an oasis, away from the hustle & bustle of the city.
Great comfortable setting, and the kids had a blast playing with the farm animals( like goats). Highly recommend it if you need time to disconnect and recharge! Thank you, Damon.
We enjoyed our stay way up on the hill. We were fascinated with the goats and pig. I’m glad I remembered to bring binoculars because there were many birds to watch. The tiny house was perfect for sleeping. The compost toilet next to the tiny house was a new experience that worked out fine. We would love to stay there again.
