This is raw land with 360 degree views including a fantastic view of Mt. Shasta. It is a silent outdoor sanctuary...perfect for agrotourism!

Place looks great "in the photos" but I wouldn't suggest staying here.

Air quality was harmful due to fires in the area and there was zero communication or attempts to get into contact with us. A little heads up would have been nice. Hell, the place could have been on fire without you knowing and you still wouldn't get your money back.

This person avoiding all communication, at all times. We didn't even show up and decided to drive to the next town.

Cheers mate! Thanks for your help

Breathtaking views. Very private. Serene. Come here to escape and enjoy the vistas.

The view of Mt. Shasta was great and I am sure this is a sweet spot if you get the place to yourself. Unfortunately our campsite (as marked) was 70 feet from another campsite that looked down on us and they were vocally not happy with us being there. Plus the host was not available to help resolve. Overall not the greatest experience. With all that land and 4x4's being recommended, I suggest the campsites be spread out more.

We had a very nice experience at this camp site!
It is truly a rare place where we are surrounded by nature as far as the eye can see.
On the two days we were there, the wind blew so hard in the evening and at night that it almost blew the tarp off. I would recommend bringing equipment that can withstand strong winds.
Michael was polite and helpful when we got lost before we arrived. Thank you Michael!

No problem finding the site. Gorgeous views! Little gusty but otherwise great spot to watch the sunset, stars and sunrise!

Overall, the campsite/general area is really beautiful and is definitely worth a visit. While trying to find the campsite, I ended up in the wrong place a couple of times and finally found the site by combining the GPS location with the instructions provided by the host. I don't mind this too much as it added to the adventure, but it would be useful to update the page with more accurate instructions and an accompanying Google Map pin link (copying the coordinates into your Navigation app of choice also works). Note: the location preview you see on Hipcamp is not accurate at all, and shows an unrelated site about 5 miles away. The host was unreachable at the time.

The site is amazing, but comes with some downsides

Amazing:
- View
- Privacy (depending on site)

Downside:
- Wind
- If you bring a RV, re consider unless a true offroad rv
- Site conditions arent the best, rocky nails etc

That view is worth it though.

Amazing view. Gorgeous vegetation. Drove a 28 foot airstream. Very bumpy but we managed. Last night and day were gale force winds! We will def visit again.
