Flat area for your RV
Recommended Hipcamp!
Currently (2/24/2024) no water exists in the canal, which is fine as that’s a summer thing. Currently there is construction work being done to improve the site. Important to know: the “Flat area for your RV” is on dirt, so expect dirt to be brought in to your RV, van, whatever you bring. But also know, the hosts (Mona, Dale) are wonderfully welcoming, accommodating, helpful, communicative, and friendly. If you’ve made it this far to book a night, you’ve done yourself a favor. I expect after-construction great things to come, year-round. Have a shower, use the restroom, enjoy the evening calm (strong odor may take awhile to get used to). It’s a Hipcamp!

Level concrete pad and driveway going into property. We had 40’ fifth wheel and had plenty of room to back up and turn around to leave. The property has a seasonal irrigation canal but while we were there it was dry. The sand bed was a great place to walk the dogs. Super quiet country setting. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

Secluded camping site
Thanks! A secluded camping 🏕️ spot to break up the long drive. The location was easy to find and the host was helpful. The kids enjoyed the giant swing and a chance to stretch their legs. It was nice to have a real flushing toilet and hot shower. The river was dry this time but it would be great refreshing swim when the water is flowing.

Nice!
Nice level concrete driveway with full hookups. You do have to drive past a sign that says "no outlet" which is always a little nerve wracking. Very friendly owners.

The family loved the sand (instead of dirt) and open space. We were sad we missed the river by days but still enjoyed being out of the house! We had plenty of trees for hammocks!
