Welcome all campers and boondockers to our off-grid desert property! Located one hour west of Las Vegas and 1.5 hours from Death Valley National Park, we offer remote land for camping amongst vintage trailers, a deserted boat, and school bus! The trailers are rented to small groups most weekends, so we offer the privacy of the entire property to tent campers, RVers, and van dwellers during the week or weekends we are not booked. When you book your camp site, you will have the 3-acre space all to yourself to enjoy. If you would like to book trailers, please see our other 2 listings (Bus and Boat option for 4+ guests, or all 6 spaces for 12+ guests!) We are perfect for groups! Price listed is for 2 guests, please add guests for more than 2!
The site has panoramic desert views with open space and mountains on all sides. The trailers are beautifully lit at night but do not distract from the milky way and stars above! So remote, we only have one neighbor nearby for half a mile. Perfect for a reset away from it all! It’s such a special location close to hot springs and hikes.
INCLUDED is full access to our outdoor kitchen (items included are listed below), a regularly cleaned Portapotty, an outdoor shower area behind a wall made of sake bottles , a covered patio for dining/lounging, and a fire pit ring with seating.

We provide 42 gallon trash bags for our kitchen bin, but you MUST remove your own bag of trash upon departure. Leave no trace policy! A large cooler (drain/remove items after please), propane griddle with lid, propane stove with pans/pot, utensils for cooking, kettle, French press, oil, bottle/wine/can opener, lighter, and way more! A 5 gallon water jug, soap, and scrubber is provider to rinse and wipe all items used along with a blue pail to act as a sink. China Ranch Date Farm is an oasis of date palms in Tecopa and features delicious milkshakes and a waterfall hike. The town of PAHRUMP NV is closest for (very cheap) gas, a rum distillery, wineries, and groceries/Walmart. Stacy was very attentive with details and being available for our experience . This little place is a dream !!! We can’t wait to come back !!! 5 stars highly recommended !
Oasis in the desert for sure!
A fantastic retreat away from all the noise of the city. Excellent for a private getaway or grounds to come together with friends and family to experience a beautiful desert landscape. You need to bring very littile supplies with you which makes it so easy to pack up and head out. There is pleanty of evening lighting due to solar lights around the property. Everything was clean and organized and easy to sit back and enjoy this great property! Cherrycloud Oasis 10 out of 10 stars!
I loved my stay at this funky spot! I was all alone, and I was afraid that the solar lighting would be too much, but it made the entire setting comfortable. The shower was much appreciated, but not "private", although there is only one neighbor, and I just parked my van to block the view. I made use of the well-stocked kitchen, with my own propane bottle, and had evening beverages and morning coffee on the comfy couch in the dining patio. 1/2 hour from Parhump for gas and groceries, and not quite 1/2 hour from the China Ranch Date Farm, which was AMAZING. I spent half the day there, hiking and eating.
Spent a couple of days at the site . Great base camp for our adventures out there. Stayed in the bus ( super cool ) Looking forward to coming back with our hiking group .
Cool and quirky
Liko’s property was such a cool space! We loved the outdoor kitchen and dining area and the bus had so much character and a surprisingly comfy bed! The extra blankets and propane heater came in very handy since the night was chilly! Liko is a great host he was super quick with his responses and very accommodating. We can’t wait to come back with friends.
