- Michael really is great. Sweet, communicative, responsive. Other reviewers wrote this, and we were taken by him as well.
- Beautiful creek area. My soul is a creek nymph so I feel somewhat qualified to say the creek is actually really stellar. We were there when the water was low, but plan to return after rainfall.

- Bathroom situation is not ideal if you have bathroom issues of any kind. Or, say if you are a new couple. Centrally located potty hut gives little privacy. Some lucky folks who are free with such things (or don’t have health issues) might not care, but assess your own comfort.
- Space is still within range of house so overall feeling of seclusion is only medium.

Amazing campsite in a tranquil and pictoresque setting. The stream that runs nearby is fantastic. Also super handy you can drive the car up to the spot. Communication with Michael was superb.

A gorgeous place to get away to! My family of four (2 little kids) had a great time at Redwood Terrace. It’s so quiet and plenty of nature to explore. Michael was a fantastic host. He communicated info ahead of time, anticipated our needs, and was a wealth of knowledge of the area. Can’t wait to go back again.

A symphony of crickets under a starry night sky, the moon slowly rises as its beams shine through silhouettes of trees illuminating the night for joyful campers! The Redwood Terrace is a very special place. We absolutely loved camping here. Michael is just lovely, very welcoming, respectful and enjoys kids. No need for a fly on your tent so you can look at the redwoods towering above you as you drift away. There's lots to explore here --I highly recommend spending time hiking along creek. It is quite low but still has fun pools for kids to play in. We spent the day in Jenner and went to Goat Rock Beach which is where the river meets the ocean and there's a perfect shallow pool where kids can wade and play in. Cafe Aquatica has good coffee and lunch, as well as live music on Saturdays. Duncan Mills has yummy eats as well with outside seating-- great after a day at the beach. All in all, this is a great place for a family with kids and we definitely plan to return one day. Gracias Michael!

We had a lovely stay at Michael's nice quiet spot in the Redwoods. We enjoyed the water, even though there isnt much of it with the drought! the camping site was well set up and maintained, and easy to use. Michael seems to be a loving and attentive caretaker of his beautiful space. Loved the wildlife tips too!

Michael has a beautiful property in one of the prettiest parts of the North Bay. Communication with him is easy and informative. The campsite is well laid out and thoughtfully appointed. We had a wonderful time wandering the creek and enjoying the redwoods. We'll definitely be back!

This campsite was wonderful with an even more wonderful host! We loved the small touches - access to Wi-Fi, a toilet, access to potable water and electric outlets, etc. The spot itself was surrounded by beautiful redwoods and was quiet at all times of the day. The fire pit was such a gift and the host, Michael, even set it up for us. We will definitely be back!

My two kids and my brother in law and I camped for two nights here. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. First, the setting was gorgeous. Camping on a terraced hillside under the redwood trees was an idyllic setting to pitch a tent. It was quiet, no airplanes passing by. The occasional (once every 4 hours maybe?) car on the one lane road was the only outside noise we could really here. Michael has built a great campsite. With 2 places to pitch your tents with tarps already pegged to the ground on a very flat surface. A table to cook food on, and picnic table to eat at and an outdoor toilet that was very well maintained. And didn't stink at all. Did I mention how quiet it was? Our site is the only one on the property (on 40 acres) which made for a very private weekend of camping. Micheal made sure we had everything we needed. His home is just up the hill from campsite which meant he was close enough to assist us when we needed something or had a question but far enough out of site (he has created some separation with some nice privacy screens) that we felt secluded.
There is a very easy 10 minute walk through the property down to the creek that flows through the property.
He has a fire ring located near the house that we used to make s'mores during the evening. We will definitely be back. If you like a private secluded campsite with a caring host this is the spot!
Note: the closest stores (15 minutes drive) have only sandwiches, drinks, shelf stable food and supplies. If you end up needing any fresh produce or a full grocery store for some reason you should bring it or plan to drive to guerneville.
