The Woodlands are amazing! We’ve stayed here with a group before and were excited to have the chance to come back on our own. The cabins are lovely and clean, the setting is dreamy with redwood groves, hiking and swimming just a short walk away, and the camp was peaceful and quiet. Don’t miss your chance to stay at this magical place, which is usually booked solid with large groups!

Jeanne and the Woodlands crew were very helpful and greeted us enthusiastically when we arrived. Absolutely wonderful location, great spot in the redwoods. Staying in the cabins, it was a great way for us to camp without a tent. It is quite dark in the cabins - even during daylight hours (or at least it was in cabin number 8) so take the advice to bring enough light to heart. At the last minute, we decided to leave our lantern home, but wished we had brought it for playing games and reading in the cabin (flashlights and headlamps were ok, but lantern would have been better). Fireplace in the cabin provided a nice bit of warmth on the chilly evenings. Water in the utility sink/dishwashing area with the bathrooms gets really hot, which helped speed up our cooking (pasta) with our camp stove. My adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay.
