Absolutely beautiful cabins and setting. The cabins each have their own porch and large wood-burning fireplace made of stone. Hot water and showers. Tons of great hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. We have been to Mendocino a few times including Airbnb's and this was hands-down our favorite place to stay. If you like places that have retained their historical integrity and remain relatively untouched, such as Deetjen's in Big Sur, this place is for you. 10/10 - highly recommend!
Once in a lifetime (we hope)
For the past decade or so, we have organized an annual camp for about 100 people at Mendocino Woodlands that keeps us running the whole weekend. It was so nice to be able to explore all that the Camp has to offer. Hiking, Biking, exploring Mendocino and the Coast. This is really a once in a lifetime chance to stay at this wonderful group camping spot with just your family and perhaps some friends. Lets hope the pandemic settles down and we can start filling up the calendar with group camping events!
What a magical place! We have loved our stay there, the cabin was unique, had a large inside fireplace, and huge window to enjoy the surrounding views. Bathrooms were clean, water is hot for showers. Planning to go back soon!
Lovely lovely lovely!
We had a great time, it’s a treasure of a place. Feel lucky to have had the opportunity since they are usually only open to large groups. Everything is in such good condition, the cabins (though a little small) are lovely, so wonderful to be able to have a fireplace! Highly recommend a visit!!
