I had great time in Mendocino Grove. Food, events and equipment are wonderful. We can just pack same as living in hotels. Although it was raining half day of our stay, it didn’t affect my experience much. I enjoyed a lot.

Mendocino Grove: wonderful! So easy, so comfortable, and so so peaceful and beautiful...we didn’t want to leave. Stayed two nights with our two kids, aged 5 and 6.5, and we were all impressed with both the common areas and our awesome little “tent cabin,” as the kids called it. Beds were dreamy. Plenty of flat surfaces + wardrobe/garment hanging area + chairs to corral personal belongings to keep a tidy living space. Firepit w. cooking grate plus a nice grill and picnic table for outdoor food prep, check. Stylish little chairs that were easy to move around, check. Lanterns to charge your devices, which we needed. Bocce! A swing to play on! Food lockers! **Wagons** to haul your stuff in (like firewood, luggage from the car, children, hahah). Drinking water refill stations, both cold and hot! Good quality, well-stocked toiletries in the bathhouse—towels were soft and water got HOT—as well as clean, well-stocked communal dishwashing sink. The family tents seemed to be set apart from the 2 person tents area, which was a great call so no couple trying to have a romantic getaway had to wake up to the sound of somebody else’s whiny kids (read: ours) and vice versa. It felt like they really thought of everything to make everybody’s stay comfortable and convenient. Our favorite things were the great little loop hiking trail, easy enough even for young children, and the thoughtful complimentary breakfast in the morning: tea, coffee and cocoa, along with a few flavors of Noosa yogurts and fresh fruit (like delicious in-season apricots, wow!) ... I snuck off with my mat one morning to the yoga deck and had a splendid solo session in the early morning while all the birds chirped around me, which was edenic. The one suggestion to fellow family travelers, besides for definitely bringing cozy layers/a respectable jacket, is to bring a travel nightlight, like little LED string lights or something similar, as the lighting options after dark felt either too dark or too bright for our kids when they were falling asleep. Oh, and perhaps your own reusable mug or thermos for morning coffee, etc. just to be good to the environment like that. :) In all, a fantastic stay; can’t wait to come back again some day!

Crappy view from the ocean facing tents (haha)Our tiny five year old loved the not-at-all-intimidating hike on the property. Easy enough for her to do it but still gorgeous! Covered common area with lending library and fresh flowers (fresh flowers in vases seemed like they were everywhere: nice touch man!)

This place is fabulous! The tents are beautifully equipped and the campsites offer exceptional amenities- glamping for sure. The location is beautiful. Probably not a choice after September because I can imagine it gets cold, but in the summer this is s gem! We are hoping to use it for family reunions. Close to the charming small town of Mendocino- great bookshops and woodworking shop. Cordial and down to earth. The camp itself is very well kept and convenient.

Our family enjoyed staying in the Westport area. Our tents were amazingly and luxuriously comfortable. Our 2 girls enjoyed sleeping in them. There were 2 propane BBQ to share in the area but that wasn't a problem as everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially Teresa. She helped with all of our reservations and made every accommodation for us! We brought a hammock stand since it was hard to find suitable trees in a safe location (watch out for huge limbs that can fall). Glad we brought it along with a mosquito net. Also suggest lots of Luci lights, mosquito coils, use the containers to protect against raccoons. Beautiful location, great setup. We want to come back!

We enjoyed everything, the clean towels, bed warmers, variety of teas, gorgeous sunset, making friends, beautiful bouquet in the bathroom, silence, 12 hour sleep, breakfast near the fire.... and we only brought ourselves and some marshmallows. Thank you to the thoughtful hosts.

Family tent was awesome! It was beautifully decorated. Came with 1 full size bed and two twin beds with a large floor space in the middle. We stayed at A2 and had our own fire pit and picnic table which was secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees. But I noticed a lot of the other tents weren't as secluded as ours. Bathrooms/soap = amazing. Loved the grills, hammocks and bocce ball court. There was also supposed to be corn hole but we couldn't find it. The downtown Mendocino area near Mendoza's market is super cool. Walk towards the water and there's a gorgeous cliff walk. Overall an amazing time!
