Perfect Private Site
What a great spot! Already looking to come back next year. Lot's of construction materials around but didn't really impact the quality of camping. Bathroom situation is a little far if you have small children, but for a small group of adults like we had, it wasn't too much trouble. Loved using the adobe cabin when the winds picked up for a little shelter! Overall, the privacy of this site was absolutely perfect for a pandemic getaway!

Truly magical location. Easy to find, quiet and pristine, in the middle of the park. Feels really special. Outdoor picnic table and fire pit was a perfect set up, and rustic cabin with fireplace worked real well on a particularly cold night. The toilet is about a ~10 minute easy walk, but does take a little time to get to.

This was one of the coolest places to stay. It's located INSIDE Joshua Tree, exactly as advertised. It was surprising to find the beaten path to come across a unique land filled with wonder and mystery. We will be coming back!

JTNP private campground? Who knew?
My group and I loved this PRIVATE campsite right inside Joshua Tree National Park. I got to be the hero for finding it. They all want to come back to this campsite with their families.
I thought it was a bit overpriced for essentially a patch of dirt with a few falling apart old buildings around it. But with the public campgrounds open, then closed, then open and closed again due to Covid, this was a great option for us. And hey, supply and demand.
Owner was friendly and easy. Site is easy to find, and very well located in the middle of many cool hiking areas. Zero security as a chain and lock on a post can be opened by anyone and the post is easily knocked down. But we didn't care about security, as we were camping and enjoying the beautiful park!
