Peaceful weekend getaway
Harrison Serenity ranch was a great experience for us, it had enough privacy yet all the necessary amenities for camping. The hosts were great and I will definitely return to enjoy the beautiful views and peaceful environment. The trail up the hill might be a challenge for a regular car (although possible) but should be fine for any SUV or truck 2 or 4 wheel drive..
Beautiful views! Steep incline and narrow access dirt road up the mountain to the property. But totally worth it. Lots of cool nooks to check out in the woods. They didn’t allow fires on my visit due to winds and dryness, which was not indicated prior, but understandable. Porta pottys were clean and outdoor showers were nice.
I went to Harrison Serenity Ranch with my Mom and Sister. It was their first time camping and it was a hit. We got in late Friday due to a crazy crash and they worked with us that evening, after dark, to get us squared away in one of the best campsites on the ranch. It was lovely. Nicole and her staff were just fantastic. Would love to return one day.
Peaceful & picturesque
This was our first time using Hipcamp and we are truly happy we discovered “Harrison Serenity Ranch” thru the app. When we arrived to check-in on Saturday afternoon, we were greeting by Jeremiah. He was so kind and friendly and proceeded to give us a tour of the available camping spots. When we said we were interested in a quiet spot, he then took us to the perfect place: Spot #4, near the Nate Harrison house. After we settled in, my husband and I walked around the Ranch property and checked out all the beautiful views of the valley and mountains as well as some of the artistic, eclectic and historic features such as: The Labyrinth, The Dome and the remains of Nate Harrison’s stone house. We experienced a spectacular sunset and then enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing evening sitting in front of a cozy fire at our site.
(*We were able to buy firewood when we reserved our spot).
Although it was a really quick getaway for us, we still feel as though we benefited from the serenity of this amazing property! Thank you!
