Great vibe but very uncomfortable bed in the yurt! Overall a very chill experience and had a great time, but we literally dragged the mattress onto the floor to sleep the second night because the bedframe was so uncomfortable.

“Glamping” is definitely a stretch, but we had a wonderful time just chilling, going to the pool and sauna. I would say it has a very earthy and more bare-bones feel, but still a fun experience and very kind people working there!

Wonderful experience! This was me and my husband's first time and we felt completely at peace and comfortable the whole time. Everyone was super friendly. We didn't experience any loud neighbors like other reviews have stated but we could have come on a quieter weekend perhaps. We swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and hiked the trail to the overlook. Fun to see all the wildlife that roams around! We will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful and I met some lovely people, but the social environment overall was not what I was looking for. There was nothing in the listing to suggest that there would be daytime and late night parties on the lawn adjacent to the campsites, but that’s what I found upon arrival. On Saturday night, there was a DJ dance party in the lodge and another group with loud music partying in the open communal kitchen area up the hill. My yurt was right in between them and even though I wore ears plugs to bed (which I don’t appreciate having to do), I could still hear both groups. On Sunday there was a DJ playing for hours on the lawn/stage and again, I had to wear ear plugs to bed. Then I was woken up at 2am by a loud group 2 yurts away and I had to get out of bed and go ask them to keep the noise down. Both nights I heard people having loud sex in their yurts (despite the ear plugs). Look, enjoy yourself but be considerate of the people around you and keep your noise contained. Had I known this all would be my experience, I never would have booked here. I wanted peace and quiet, and the typical yurt & tent camping sites observe quiet hours at night but this place does not. My fault for assuming otherwise. If you want a party atmosphere in nature, then you’ll probably enjoy it here. Before booking, I suggest you call the property and find out what they have planned for your travel dates. The cafe serves wholesome, delicious meals and fresh cocktails but hours are very limited so plan in advance. Definitely take the upper trail around sunset to the overlook.

When we got to Lupin the greeting was wonderful. She was new but she did great in explaining everything to us. Our yurt was great and cozy, we met alot of people during out stay. The chef was great to me. She knew i was in a soft diet and she went beyond to feed me. Sarah another lupin resident was very down to earth and made em feel so at peace. We will definitely come back. Thank you

What a wonderful place. The yurt was comfortable and the grounds had a lot of different things to do. I enjoyed the trail a lot and it was nice laying out by the pool when the sun was shining. The staff were super nice and helpful. The other visitors were great as well, nice mix of age ranges. Overall super great weekend and I’m already looking forward to my next visit, hopefully in the warmer season.

A land lost in time. This place had a lovely, inclusive hippie vibe. All free spirits, regardless of race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation were welcome, just as they are.

Nudity was treated as it is--a part of nature. Appropriate for the community that is nested in the seclusion of the land. All bodies, of all shapes were present and happy. Judgement had no currency in Lupin.

The yurt was better outfitted and more comfortable than most hotels I had stayed in. The yurt was spacious and we'll furnished. I felt lavish, and in the colds of January, I felt warm. The yurt was outfitted with two heaters and a dual controlled, soft electric blanket. Respecting the roughness of the natural environment, the yurts lacked fascilties, but a clean bathroom and coed shower facility was a short hike up the hill.

There was a very clean community kitchen, also just up the hill from the yurts. There were plenty of cooking supplies to use for your self prepared, self supplied meals. Or, if you like, there is an outstanding restaurant on the grounds run by chef Michelle. Her motto, as she explained it to me, was, "No guest goes hungry when she is around". She was true to her word. She was respectful of diet restrictions and made up vegetarian alternatives for me happily upon request.

Lupin is a community. The residents far out numbered the guests while I was there. Everyone I encountered was kind and had an air of happiness. They went about there lives interacting with visitors when they interacted with them. The residents were festive, playing music, loudly laughing, and living their lives until 9 PM every night and then there was an agreed silence from people that was filled by the surrounding forrest.

I would recommend bringing a good blanket if you want to hang out on the lawn. Also bring a yoga mat. Dillon hosted an outstanding yoga class on the January Saturday morning that I was there. Sunscreen is a must. Bring twice as much as you think you need. Though Lupin has a clothing optional policy on the grounds, the pool area has a NO clothes policy. The sun was intense and welcoming while I was there. Sunscreen is a must. Also, there is a fantastic skylight in the yurts. It's great for star gazing, but it also invites in the early morning sun. Unless you want to wake with the wild turkeys that live at Lupin, bring a night mask to block the sun. The yurts are canvus covered. They are insolated for cold, but not sound and they are very close to each other. You will hear your neighbors and they will hear you. This is Glamping after all.

I love this place and I will be back.
