Beautiful spot—woodsy, calming, and perfect environment for families. Hilleary is an amazing host. We immediately felt at home and she was a wonder with the kids. Definitely will return!
We stopped over the day before The Kate Wolf Festival looking to get a head start to the entry gates in the morning. Easy to find. The host was super nice. Little café nearby for morning breakfast and coffee in Laytonville.
Great little spot. My truck camper fit alright, bit snug fitting through a leaning madrone. The site is right on the entry road, you can see the neighbors on the adjacent property. I imagine late night shenanigans are not appreciated. Not a private feeling site. The other camp sites weren't to close. Rustic composting toilets, I didn't mind one bit. My mother wasn't to keen on the set up. I definitely lifted up the lid before I sat down. lol. Nice view of the forest from inside. lmao.
Loved the flowers on the table, nice little extra.
Tons of Poison oak all around the site and climbing up the trees. Not in the camp but surrounding camp. You would do well to keep a close eye on your dogs and little ones. I wouldn't want to stay here for more than a night. Just a great in-between spot if you are going from point A to point B.
They had a nice little hang out spot. I didn't make it down there, but they had a bunch of amenities and places to get cozy and hang out with the cats.
I'll definitely be back next year. Thanks!!
