Could not stay here. Poor conditions and not as advertised.
Bev and Thornton were so friendly and helpful! We arrived with a flat tire on the truck and Thornton ran in to get his jack and helped my husband change the tire - above and beyond! The set-up is basic - driveway in a rustic setting, water and electric from the house (be sure you have a 110 converter for electric), but you can't beat the proximity to the lava beds, or the friendliness of the hosts. Our kids loved exploring the hills, finding lizards and jack rabbits. Bev and Thornton were friendly, kind, and very helpful. Nice people. Would stay again on our next trip to the lava beds!
