Can’t speak to this listing because the hosts upgraded us to their main house at the last minute! Everything was perfect - we had everything we needed and they were super responsive and helpful. Around 20 min from Mammoth “downtown”, great jumping off point for exploring the beauty this area has to offer, and Mammoth itself for food and drink :D

We had a very comfortable stay. It's a nice quiet neighborhood close that is a quick drive to Mammoth Lakes. Checking in and checking out was very simple and quick.

My family and I loved staying at this awesome cabin in the outskirts of the town of lake Crowley. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful with info about local conditions and hikes and were very flexible. The space itself is great with ample space to camp and/or set up a camper (as we did) right next to the cabin. Really looking forward to returning as there is so much to do in this beautiful corner of California!

Great spot! The hosts were incredibly friendly and flexible - it was great chatting with them when we arrived and they made us feel right at home. The space is perfect for a small group (we had 2 couples) and has everything you need with a well-stocked kitchen & bathroom. We did see a few mouse droppings & ants in the kitchen, but being in a cabin in the mountains (and staying there after first doing some tent camping), it didn't bother us. The view of the lake is really beautiful, and the location is amazing - super close to Crowley Lake & Convict Lake and lots of less crowded hiking/fishing spots, plus only 15min from the town of Mammoth. I would definitely stay again & recommend!

Perfect location and accommodation for a quick weekend snowboarding trip to Mammoth. The hosts Dan and Kara did an incredible job of stocking up this studio with amenities. To name a few, you'll have a full kitchen, legitimate high speed internet, streaming services, washer/dryer, and heated bathroom floors. If you're looking for an alternative to lodging that is more cost effective than a vacation rental in town at Mammoth without having to compromise on amenities, this is the spot.
Lastly, I just wanted to mention how accommodating Dan and Kara are as hosts. Considering how quickly the weather can change in the Eastern Sierra's, we really appreciated their flexibility in being able to reschedule our booking dates due to road closures on the original weekend we had planned to visit.

Perfect home base for all things Eastern Sierra! We had a cozy stay at Dan and Kara's place, situated just in between Bishop for the climbing and Mammoth for the snow, right in town with easy access. The full kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the TV was set up with streaming accounts, and the beds were comfortable. Oh and the heated bathroom floors and that giant bathtub, just what we needed while we were there during some snowstorms! We fit three adults; it's a studio and can be a tight space with lots of people, so I'd say two couples could stay here comfortably if they are very familiar with each other. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

I would highly recommend staying here. It was super comfortable and well equipped. It was close to hot springs and convict lake hike (about 10 minutes away). It was a bit farther to Mammoth but I didn't mind too much.

My son and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Modern Mt. Studio. It was the perfect spot, quiet and relaxing after a day on the slopes at Mammoth. Dan and Kara were very responsive as hosts and we’ll definitely be back!

The studio was comfortable and well equipped, including a wonderful heated bathroom floor. The hosts were friendly and responsive and my sister-in-law's dog loved playing with the hosts three pups. The studio was located in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The property was the perfect little place to call home after a day on the slopes. Dan and Kara were the most welcoming hosts and were very easy to reach when needed. They even let us meet their doggoes and play with their new litter of puppies! The location is beautiful and pretty central to many of our go-to places (Mammoth, June, Bishop) so we'll definately be keeping their place in mind for future trips 😊 Thanks again for the hospitality Dan and Kara!

Dan and Kara were the most gracious and easy going hosts! They made us feel very welcomed, and the cabin was great! Perfect size for myself, two kids, and a dog. We were all so comfortable. Nice porch overlooking the lake view for a morning coffee, comfortable bed, and lovely neighborhood to walk around. Great location not far from convict, rock creek, June lakes, the hot springs and the town of mammoth. Highly recommend!

I loved this stay. The house was perfect: enough space, clean, cute, and had everything we needed. Dan and Kara were amazing hosts and we left feeling like friends and not just hipcampers. The location 15 minutes south of town was easy access to lots of hiking, hot springs, and to Mammoth Lakes. When we return I intend to stay here again.

This Hipcamp was such a lovely surprise for our group. The hosts were very gracious and even let us play with their 4 week old puppies. They had a fire pit and outdoor kitchen for our use as well. I would return to this hipcamp anytime I am in the area if I could.

This was such a hospitable place to stay. We arrived at night, in the dark. D came out and greeted us, made sure we were all set. Their usual bathroom was unavailable but they accommodated us and offered us an inside bathroom to use during our stay. Beautiful property with a great view, allowed us to car camp in our Outback on their back lot.

We showed up late after a long day and Kara and her husband were such lovely hosts. Truly made our entire night with their generosity and quick responses. We woke up to a stunning view in the morning and their pup Smokey was so sweet to us. Can’t recommend them enough!

Beautiful, perfect location with amazing hosts! My boyfriend and I had a last minute change in plans and we were able to score this gem of a spot before heading up to June Lake for a few nights. The cabin was so cozy and well stocked. The hosts were accommodating and warm - and the 3 dogs on the property were friendly and equally as inviting to our dog as well. Would absolutely stay here again the future!

Beautiful, clean and well equipped cabin! It’s perfect for our small getaway long weekend. This cabin is just next to the host’s host, so if you need anything, it’s really easy to work with them! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, their local suggestions is super helpful too!
If you are a dog lover, they have 3 super friendly cute dogs will give you some love!

We stayed at Safe n Quiet for a hiking weekend, and it was the perfect home base! Being between Bishop and Mammoth was excellent. We basically pitched our tent in a small grass patch by their driveway, which was well obscured and hidden from the street (which is a small private street anyway).
Hosts were super kind, communicative, and polite. Thank you for hosting us!

I was traveling solo with my dog and this was a great home base after a long day of hiking and exploring. The place provided all that I needed for a comfortable stay with some thoughtful extras 😊 I would happily stay again!
