Close to the North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and Indian Cove. We are just 29 miles of beautiful desert away from Pioneer Town, home to the world famous Pappie and Harriet's. We're also an easy 16 mile drive to a gem in the desert, The Palms in Wonder Valley! Even closer than that are great places to eat and drink right in downtown 29 Palms, just 5 miles down the road- Ask us for recs!

david’s spot is peaceful and serene. it’s super clean and well marked! i loved my quick stay here and would stay again if passing through.
Nice little spot and was quite. It is down a sandy rough road. So I don't know if I would take a compact car. But I would stay again.
Had a really great time camping here in my van. Camping solo can be scary (especially as a woman), but I felt pretty safe here. Also happened to have the entire campground to myself, which was really cool.
The porta potty was also one of the cleanest porta potties I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing my business in. It can be sort of a crapshoot (toilet humor) when it comes to some of these Hipcamp sites, but this one was immaculate. I also appreciated the hose to fill my solar shower, the silence, the sunrises/sunsets, and the view of the stars. I would definitely stay here again. Really beats the crowded campgrounds in the park.

Quiet spot near joshua tree np
Fantastic alternative to camping in Joshua Tree NP. Super close to the entrance of the park and the conveniences of the town of 29 Palms. It was sooo quiet, too and a beautiful sunrise over the mountains to the east. David was so great - communicated so quickly and met me at the gate to help me in. ATT cell reception is good here too!

Amazing views, seclusion, nice spot
It’s a great property. Very secluded and the space is well curated and kept. The portapotty was really clean which is big in our book. The views were stunning and Dave was a very personable and attentive host. Our dogs loved the fully fenced in area too!
