In late 2015 I purchased two acres of undeveloped land in north Joshua Tree and gradually built it up into a homestead. In June of 2019 my brother Tanner saw the property and all its improvements for the first time. He liked it so much that together we tracked down the owner of the parcel to the east of me and made an offer. The offer was accepted and my brother became the proud owner of two and a half acres of raw desert. When covid hit my brother left a winery management position in Napa, purchased a vintage trailer and over the next year we restored it and made improvements to the property with the intention of sharing it with sojourners, city slickers and anyone seeking repose in the dry ocean known as the Mojave desert. Learn more about this land: The Kozy Coach is a restored 1963 travel trailer on two and a half acres surrounded by government protected land with panoramic views of the Mojave to the north and east, the national park to the south and Big Bear mountain to the west. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree, the Kozy Coach is easy to find and access yet is still a world away from the hubbub of the city. The camper is powered by solar and has cold and hot pressurized water and a full size bed. Adorned with wrap around windows to enjoy the desert scape and starry nights, the camper also has a large area for cooking and dining. The site is landscaped, has a large shade structure, outdoor seating and cooking area. There is no refrigerator, however there is a 70 quart pelican cooler that retains ice for days at a time. At night the stars and full moon are mystifying, come and see for yourself!

So cute and cozy! We had a great time staying here and the coach was equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful views and lots of privacy but also very convenient to Joshua Tree park entrance. Would definitely recommend.

January Camping
Fun and easy way to camp. I enjoyed some of the small, thoughtful touches (hanging star-gazing hammocks, a covered pavilion over the outside picnic table, etc). We stayed in Jan, the weather was chilly and windy. Too windy for camp fire. The sky was surreally beautiful, both day and night. The best surprise we had were the clouds at sunset. Impressive! The trailer is small, don't bring lots of luggage. The camper bathroom was fine, and there were a few scattered and relatively clean 'port a potty' facilities around. The town of Joshua Tree was a fun, hip-and-happening little desert town. Overall, super fun getaway.

Amazing winter stay
I loved my stay here! I stayed in January and it was cold at night, so bring extra layers as it says in the description. Provided are many blankets but I still used some of my own as well. Location is close to town, host is available and nearby for any questions, inside is cozy, outside is a real special treat. I would happily stay again!

Great Stay near Joshua Tree
This was a beautiful piece of land with a nicely curated trailer with all your needs. Blake is a very considerate and accommodating host who was always within reach if we needed something. A delightful stay if you are going through Joshua Tree National Park or passing through the desert. Would surely stay again!

Must stay here!
I don’t have enough positive things to say. I just loved the entire experience I had here. 3 nights was enough, but I wish I had a week. The sunrises. Sunsets. INSANE FROM THERE. The ways I learned to maneuver in the small space inside and feel so at home. Everything was great. The property is beautiful with the landscaping. Really adds to the magic. Hope I can get back in 2023!
