Welcome to our little slice of 10 acre heaven in the Canyon! Just bring yourself and we have everything else!! Nestle up in the Cozy Gnome Home, a 1967 vintage trailer and listen to the symphony of frogs in the creek just outside your window. With love and labor... we gutted, redesigned and restored this little trailer for the ultimate functioning space for two. Nice lit
Nice little kitchen with copper counters and everything you need for cooking and dining. A Berky filter for clean water, hardwood floors and a comfy bed complete with organic mattress, down comforter and cotton sheets. Fold out dining table if you care to (or need to) eat indoors. There is also an outdoor kitchen space with a sink (no hot water), gas grill, propane burner (bring your own small canister) and a patio table and chairs. We have a charcoal grill available too. The creek runs year round so feel free to get your feet wet on a hot sunny day. We also have an outdoor warm shower and sink as well as a hot water kitchen sink that you can share with other campers. You are welcome to cruise the property and check out the chickens, ducks and horses. We have three dogs on the ranch, a deaf and incredibly sweet pitbull ( he is a food thief so store food and garbage as though raccoons were a problem), a curious and playful ranch dog Pluto (who will be your tour guide) and a new pup Boston Bulldogge, Astrid. We are surrounded by orchards which have some of the best apples and pears in the country. Seasonally you can stop by many apple markets and do a tasting. We also have a lively wine tasting venue less than a mile away. Avila Beach is a short 4 miles away and we are happy to share bikes if we have them available but can't guarantee any. Our location is a bikers' dream as the 13 mile scenic road takes you all the way into SLO.
NOTE: If you want to bring others to camp, please note that they need to bring their own tents and supplies, we only have room for two but welcome self sufficient campers to join you :) also, we have a camp stove you can use to cook on but bring your own little green propane canister.

The Cozy Gnome Home was fantastic! The home is cozy and the grounds wonderful. We had a great time exploring, playing with the dog Pluto and visiting the horses. It's also very close to Avila and the beaches and great ice cream there. We would absolutely come again and loved every minute.
What an amazing experience at the Gnome Home. The camper was so thoughtfully designed, and the property is magical. The location was super convenient to Avila Beach, SLO and Morro. Hope to be back soon!
Our family had a magical stay on Lorna and Pauls property. They are such hospitable friendly hosts adding the extra charm to this stay. The camper is so darn cozy - the mattress and pillows are dreamy. And so plush having electricity and a fridge. Such a great outdoor space for play and relaxation. Our kiddos adored the dog Pluto and could freely roam and play. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!!
Had such a great time here! Perfect location and the trailer is a great space. Pluto is so sweet and Lorna is an excellent host! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
Such a lovely little place in the most perfect area! Lorna was very accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our weekend getaway. It’s in the absolute best location - we spent a day in Avila beach, a day in Pismo, and a day in Morro Bay. All very easy driving distance. Additionally the winery (Kelsey see vineyards) less than a mile away was amazing! We recommend the Orange Muscat. We will definitely be coming back!! Thank you Lorna. :)
We had a wonderful experience staying here! The bed was super comfortable and everything had so much character and charm. It was very quiet and relaxing so we slept perfectly. The location is excellent if you want to visit Avila Beach. Lorna was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

I can’t recommend this location enjoy! Lorna was very responsive ahead of our stay and the Gnome trailer was even cuter in person and truly had everything we needed. I will definitely be returning.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience… the Cozy Gnome is a magical place. Lorna is very welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, the camper is perfect: clean, has the essential things you will need, a very comfy hammock under these beautiful trees, a fun swing for kids/adults… and Pluto, a super friendly dog. It’s secluded yet just a short drive to Avila Beach, SLO, Montaña de Oro. Our three teenagers sleep in a tent next to the camper. They loved walking around the beautiful grounds… checking out the horses, ducks, chickens and playing with Pluto. This was the perfect getaway …we’d love to come back and highly recommend this gem!
