I have a 12 x 10 ft glampy tent in a redwood forest, with an air mattress inside, a light and a rack for clothes.  The tent is located in my meadow, which is also where the garden is located.

There is a heater in there which is great and normally warms it up pretty quick. There is also a wood stove in there, but I do not recommend using it as it will smoke out the tent if you're not careful.

There are lights going around the perimeter of the garden, and a little greenhouse there, which you are welcome to hang out in. To turn on the garden lights, plug in the brown cord at the electrical box.

The porta potty is located in the meadow, and is changed every Thursday.

The outdoor shower is located half way between the tent and my house. I love my shower! It gets steamy, I have candles and crystals out, I love it. But please don't mess with it in any way. It works well but is tempermental to people adjusting the shower head, which can cause it to break. To turn the shower on, look for the red knob below the silver colored gas heater. Please make sure you've fully shut off the red knob when done. If it's fully shut, it won't leak.

There's a trash bin by your tent. With Covid, there's no recycling at the dump, so you can put everything in there. But please dump food scraps that might attract animals in the forest or off the property.

There's a fire pit, and tons of wood around, but please keep fires small. Please do not use the wood in the wood shed for fires. This is wood I have cut, bought and gathered to keep my house warm.

Please park on the wood chips to the left, when you turn into the driveway. If you try to park to the right, you will drive over the main water line.

If I'm around, I can show you the trails on the property. Extra blankets and towel rental available for a small fee.

My husband and I had a nice weekend at The Fairy Glampy Tent! The tent was a great size with accomodations for heat and a cooking stove, as well as clothes rack! It was just as expected! 🤗 The shower made me nervous at first because of the glass but no worries now! It was a nice shower experience and much enjoyed (also very clean)! The outhouse was clean and smelled nice! Kimberly stayed in contact with me and answered all my questions! Sorry Kimberly I had a lot! I recommend a stay here for sure! We are used to regular tent camping and this was a nice change of pace!

This spot is beautiful. The tent is well maintained, outdoor shower was a lovely touch. We kept nice and warm with the heater.

Situated 30 minutes from most of the amazing hikes, and 15 mins from Arcata. Hike down to College Grove beach, it's super close and amazing.

This is a perfect, spacious, comfy tent. The queen sized air bed and comforter are very nice. You don't sink into the air mattress - it has air pillars inside for extra support. I'm 220, my partner is 185, and we woke up to the same level of inflation after hours.

The space heater (electric) is perfect. There is a power strip inside the tent, a machete, hangars, a lamp, a stove. It's very close to a fully stocked grocery store and gas station.

No wifi, no mobile signal. So it was off-grid for us. It was nice.

The tent is very big. You could sleep two adults and a kid on the airbed, and at least two or three more adults on the floor.

The tent is on a wood foundation, like a deck, around a foot off the ground. The sanihut is clean and stocked with toilet paper. The shower is warm and cozy. Plenty of trails, and a great little garden with string lights really make this camping spot pop.

I had the most amazing time at this place. It was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful environment and the best place to soul search. The space is completely surrounded by large trees which added a sense of privacy. Full transparency, there was some private construction being done next to the site but that didn’t bother me. Just a heads up! The outdoor shower was fantastic. Being able to shower surround by large trees is nothing short of amazing. This was the perfect getaway for what I was looking for. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some peace and solitude.

Kimberly's Forest Fairy Glampy tent is a must stay! She is a kind human being whose affinity for positive spaces and cozy atmospheres manifests itself in her home and this listing. Upon arrival she took the time to walk my fiancée and I around the trails on the property, tell us a bit of backstory about the land and her acquisition of it, and give us some pro tips for the shower(coolest shower ever btw; see photos). The canvas tent heats nicely with the space heater if needed and the mosquito net kept bugs at bay all night. Theres a rug and some shelving and clothing rack so you can sprawl out a bit once there. The fairy lights around the garden are a nice atmospheric touch for the evening and if permitted the fire pit is a beautiful place to sit and breath in some cool Pacific air.

Oh and one more thing: if you have the privilege of meeting Kimberly, ask her about the fairy that lives in the area.

local flora is really popping off during the spring I bet!Cozy up at night under this massive tree.We found if you don't have a table like us, the platform is a good height to throw down your trusty coleman.wood carving marking a trail into the woods / to the shower.
