Great location with amazing night views of the stars and Mt Shasta! Perfect place to boondock an airstream and Justin is a super cool host.
Just be careful about the route GPS may send you. Check in with Justin first just to confirm the directions.
Despite the clear directions we missed the driveway. Someone came out right away to direct us in. The campsite was perfect. It is in the burn area but we found it to be beautiful. At night the stars came out, the owls kept us company and we felt very much alone in nature’s bounty.

We loved our stay here right by shasta. The campsite was easy to find even late at night. Such a nice view of the mountain and surrounding beauty.
Alex was very helpful, will definitely stay again if we're back up this way.
Amazing view of Mt. Shasta.
The two campsites are spread far apart. While I was there, no one stayed at the other site.
Definitely recommend & would stay again!
Great place to spend a night while passing through. The site is surrounded by beauty, is pretty secluded, the Alexs home being 500 yards or so away and the other Hipcamp site about 300. The view of Shasta was perfect day and at night with its snow illuminating the mountain. The night time sky was great because it’s so dark. The road getting to the property was dirt and fairly bumpy but wouldn’t be an issue for any vehicle. We passed it up and messaged Alex and he responded instantly letting us now where to go. 10/10 would stay again if I were in the area. Prepare to get a little dusty but totally worth it
