Like other reviews already say: 1) the view from this campsite is GORGEOUS 2) Alex was super helpful and communicative. We had a long drive and arrived late around 11pm. The GPS coordinates in hipcamp are slightly past the turnoff to the property, which we realised pretty quickly, but Alex still came out to greet us with a headlamp. Beautiful night sky (lucky to have a new moon and no clouds) and the site is private so we happily slept without a rain fly to enjoy the stars and the sun rise over mount shasta. Having the picnic table was a big plus.

Wow! So glad we found this place. The views are absolutely stunning. The stars were beautiful with the Milky Way right over our hammock. We watched the sunrise and it was magnificent. We were visited by jack rabbits, lizards, hummingbirds, and a friendly bar. We had a tent for us and the kids and my husband and I had a hammock and I could have laid there watching the shooting stars forever.

This is easily one of my favorite Hipcamp spots we have stayed at. Stunning views with Sashta standing out against a wide open space. Easy drive to I5 but it was quite and secluded with us as the only campers. Also Alex's farm fresh green eggs were delicous to make for breakfast!
Alex was a great host! The site was beautiful and serene. I red recommend this site to anyone who loves seeing beautiful sunset moonrises and stars.
Such a beautiful property and a wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the moon over mt Shasta from the picnic bench

A really great experience. Alex was very communicative. We arrived after dark and were a bit confused about which site was which, so he showed us the way down to the site. It was a gorgeous location, the aroma of the previous year's burn unlike anything else.
