What a gem! We stayed here for several nights and loved the view and proximity to Mt Shasta. It may get windy in the afternoon/evening so keep that in mind if you’re tent camping. 10/10 would recommend!
Beautiful views of mt shasta
Pretty straight forward directions. Nice easy road into the campsite. Was kindly greeted by Alex and his dog. We had a brief convo. Amazing views of MT. Shasta. Nice quiet night. Amazing campsite.
Dreamyy views and perfect location
We loved camping here! The view of Mt. Shasta and the surrounding mountains is incredible. Watching sunset and sunrise was so magical! The location is also within a short distance of several hikes and views in the area! The site itself is clean the picnic table is a nice touch. We would 10000% stay here again!
Stayed here with my partner and doggo! We enjoyed the magical view from our tent and a comfortable place to be. Alex was very helpful in making sure we knew where the place was and helped us with any questions or needs we had. Snowed a bit while we were there which made for a mystical morning frost, so bring something warm. Only about 35+ minutes to Mount Shasta Ski Park on a nice day, which was great. Definitely recommend.
Great high desert shasta homebase
The campsite is at a beautiful location in the high desert, with a fantastic view of Mt Shasta. It was quite easy to find and Alex was a great host—very nice and welcoming.
We were there in late April, with moderate temps. Be prepared for potentially windy conditions—so glad we brought the pop up canopy and wind guard so that preparing food was more comfortable. We would absolutely recommend staying at this gorgeous site.
